About the Tour Have you ever walked around a garden and wondered about the name of a plant or who a garden is named after and why? An arboretum is an outdoor museum for plants and, like any museum, it needs interpretation for visitors to get the most out of what it has to offer.
That is why we created this tour: to inform the public on their own time, anytime. Originally designed as part of a master’s degree project by a student in the department of Agronomy and Horticulture, the tour utilizes a voicemail system in a way that had never been tried before.
This tour is just the beginning. We look forward to bringing you additional tours of East Campus and the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
You can always press the * key after a recording starts to go back to the previous menu from any option or stop number.
You can enter an option at any time during the recording.
