FINAL ASSEMBLY
Our final assembly for 2017 will be conducted on Thursday 21st Decem-
ber commencing at 1pm and concluding at 1:30pm in our School Build-
ing. All students will be dismissed for the Christmas Holidays at the end
of the assembly.

ICE-CREAM / ICY POLE FRIDAY
Friday, is our last Icy Pole/ Ice Cream Friday for 2017. Icy Poles .50c and Ice-Creams $1
END OF YEAR EXCURSION
Our whole school will be going to Ballarat for our end of year excursion. The day will begin with a movie at the
Ballarat Regent Multiplex followed by grades participating in a variety of exciting activities. Permission slips
were given out last week. Please return with payment of $15 asap.
VOLUNTEERS—SPECIAL MORNING TEA
Our school is inviting all school volunteers to a Special Morning Tea on Wednesday
20th December between 10:30—11:30am. This is a way of thanking all of our
wonderful volunteers for their valued, continual and vital support during 2017.
SCHOOL COUNCIL MEETING
Our final School Council Meeting for 2017 will be conducted on Tuesday 19th December at 5pm at “The
Barkly”, Cnr Main Rd and Barkly St, Ballarat.
LOST PROPERTY
As the end of the year is quickly approaching, our school is asking all students and parents to check our lost
property basket. The basket (located in our first aid room) is over flowing and all items must have an owner.

FUNDRAISING
Our school would like to thank our fantastic fundraising committee (Deb, Belinda, Kylie, Janet and Sallee) who have
done a wonderful job this year raising funds for our school. A lot of time and hard work has been put towards all of
our functions. To date we have raised $33,000.00 with expenditure of $23,0000.
Our funds have been spent on an Outdoor Shelter, Science Equipment, Popcorn Machine, Urn, Barbeque, Esky
and Outdoor Furniture.
We will be carrying forward the balance of our funds for next year of when we will be putting a kitchen in the senior
building which will be used for cooking, canteen, school functions etc,
The following functions / fundraising activities are what we have done this year :
Pie Drives x 2, Special Lunch Days x 7, Movie Night, Hot Cross Buns, Easter Raffle, Bunnings Barbeque, Mother’s
Day Stall, Christmas in Winter, Trivia Night, Wine Sales, Father’s Day Stall.
If anyone has any suggestions for fundraising for next year, please advise our fundraising committee.
