These instructions are for the pupils participating in the work shops in Finland.

MEASURING

Measure the journey from home to school.

You can do it by using for example

• a map and a measuring tape

• a map program in Internet (f.e. Google Maps)

• a sports application in your smart phone ( f.e. Sports Tracker)

These are just few examples, you are free to make it in your own way.

HOW FAR DO YOU COME?

• Make a map of all your class mates´ way to school. Draw the line to school

• red if you come by car

• blue if you come by bike

• yellow if you come by bus

• green if you walk .

• Take a photo of your map and send it to the coordinator in Finland.

• Ask this question from your class mates and collect the information of your class.

FINALLY

• Give all the information to your teacher who will forward that to the coordinator in Finland.

• The dead line of this task is in the end of February 2016
