    1/3

    Upcoming Events!

For I cannot help but speak of what I have seen and heard

Acts 4:20Taste and see that the Lord is good. Psalm 34:8

Pray! Pray! Pray!~ Pray that our students would be

excited about leading their ministryand they would be passionate about

these next 5 weeks as well as excitedabout planning for next year.

~ Pray our committee teams would

be fully running and planning ontheir own by the end of the year.

    ~Pray a committee would come

together at Howard the way Goddesires.

~Pray for solid guys to add maleleadership at Howard.

~Pray that we would use our last 5weeks on campus wisely.

~Pray our team would love one anotherwell and be united these last 2 months.

~Pray for the unity of next years team.

~Pray for my future team and I as we

continue to find people to partner with

us through prayer and financial support

    for next year.

Where has all the time gone?Another month has ended, and now our team begins to close inon our last five weeks of campus ministry before the semesterends. It is kind of surreal for me though, since I will be

returning for the next year. Now as we push into this finalmonth I find myself finding ways to push a long-term vision forministry on this campus. I am excited to be a part of it and seehow this will all come to fruition. Yet as our team tries to findways to make the most of our future time, it has been commonfor us look back on what the Lord has done and where we havecome. This past month is an especially great time to look backupon. September began with our team taking a mid-year retreatto Cape Town to find a little refreshment before having to pushhard through these next two months. If there is one thing youneed to know from our week in Cape Town it is this: You must

start saving now so you can take a trip there as soon as possible!

    justmetwithoneofthegirlsIdiscipleandasked

    heraboutcamp,andshesaiditdefinitelychangedherperspectiveonGod.She said it

helped heal many wounds from her relationship

with her Father, and that she was able to open upand share things about her father that she had nevershared before. Now she is more in touch with Godsince she is not projecting those feelings on Him,

but instead knows He loves her. She is full of joyand excited to spend time with God reading the

bible. Plus not only did her relationship with God

change from the weekend, but also her relationshipwith her biological father. We have been prayingfor months that God would help her love her fatherand to heal their relationship, and even to let themspeak to one another. She told me that since campshe has spoken to her father almost everyday andthat it is definitely easier for her to love him nowthat she knows it is ok that he is not perfect becauseGod loves her in spite of how her father feels. There are many stories like that one that came fromthose few days away. Camp was amazing, and it

was such a blessing again to have time to get awaywith our students and have fun while buildingdeeper relationships with them and going deep inwhat we were learning about God. Now we are

back on campus following up with the studentsfrom camp, and still meeting new ones. We havefive weeks left of their regular semester and so ourtime is running out quickly. Pray that God wouldgive us all wisdom on how to spend these next fiveweeks, and how He desires to move on ourcampuses in preparation for how He will continue

    to move in the future.
