I have been looking at current magazines like NME and VIBE and have found out the basic connotations about them. This has also given me the experience to spot the difference about different magazines which has made me think about going against the connotations of current magazines to day, to make my magazine unique.

After getting the responses from my questionnaire I found answers that I was surprised with. For example I found out that a lot of the respondents liked to read short articles.

Louise is 18 years old and is currently finishing her A-levels at a 6th form. She has been really stressful recently, as she has been waiting for her replies from the universities that she has applied to. She is a big fan of Beyonce as she loves her style and also her music. Louise is also a big fan of Drake who is a well know artists within Hip Hop and RnB. She is hoping that she will be able to go to Drakes freestyle concert in summer 2012 where he will be coming to London and performing. As Louise’s January exams have finished and she feels that she can relax and have a bit of fun with her friends and family. She also loves her high street shopping and fashion, she always makes and effort to look good as she states that it makes her feel good too. I feel that my magazine will cater for her as I will be basing my magazine around the genre that she is comfortable with. I will also add elements of fashion into my magazine.
