MY FAVOURITE
A word from Isabelle …
Each lullaby in this book -CD has been carefully selected and sung
with the intention of allowing you to share intimate moments of qui-
etude and calm with your children; during the day, or at bedtime
when you are ready to release them into the arms of Morpheus.
I sincerely hope you will enjoy seeing their bright little eyes close
gently as they drift off to sleep with these soothing tunes, while you
softly sing along the melodies which once lulled you to sleep in your
own childhood. It gives me great satisfaction to think that my voice
can be a part of a few of the many precious moments which you will
spend with your little loved ones
With all my heart I wish you beautiful memories and sweet dreams!

Brahms Lullaby
Sleep baby sleep
Thy father guards the sheep
Thy mother shakes the dreamland tree
And from it fall sweet dreams for thee
Sleep baby sleep
Sleep baby sleep
Our cottage vale is deep
The little lamb is on the green
With woolly fleece so soft and clean
Sleep baby sleep
Sleep baby sleep
Thy father watches the sheep
The wind is blowing fierce and wild
It must not wake my little child
Sleep baby sleep
Sleep baby sleep
Sleep Baby Sleep
Are you sleeping
Are you sleeping

(Repeat 5 times)
By the Light of the Moon Are You Sleeping
At the clear water fountainWhile I was strolling by
The water looked so coolSo I went to bathe inside
Chorus
My love for you is eternalYour memory will never die
Under the leaves of an oak treeAs I was drying myself
Perched on the tallest branchA nightingale sang by herself
Chorus
Sing on nightingale sing dearYour heart is happy and glad
Your heart is filled with laughterMine is weary and sad
Chorus
I lost my dearly belovedI really don’t know whyWhen I refused his roses
He turned and said goodbye
Chorus
I wish that those red rosesWere never given to me
And that my little darlingCould finally forgive me
Chorus
At the Clear Water Fountain
Hush-a-bye don’t you cryGo to sleep my little baby
When you wake you shall haveAll the pretty little ponies
Black and bays dapples and graysGo to sleep you little babyHush-a-bye don’t you cryGo to sleep my little baby
Hush-a-bye don’t you cryGo to sleep my little baby
When you wake you shall haveAll the pretty little ponies
Daddy’s boy mama’s joyGo to slumber land my baby
When you wake you shall haveAll the pretty little horses
All the Pretty Horses
Amazing Grace
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost but now am found
Was blind but now I see
’Twas Grace that taught
My heart to fear
And Grace my fears relieved
How precious did that Grace appear
The hour I first believed
When we’ve been here ten thousand
years
Bright shining as the sun
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Then when we’ve first begun
Amazing Grace
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost but now am found
Was blind but now I see
Amazing GraceIt’s raining it’s pouringThe old man is snoring
He went to bed And bumped his head
And couldn’t get up in the morning
It’s raining it’s pouringThe old man is snoring
He went to bed And bumped his head
And couldn’t get up in the morning
It’s raining it’s pouringIt’s raining it’s pouringIt’s raining it’s pouringIt’s raining it’s pouring
It’s Raining It’s Pouring
Hush little baby don’t say a word
Papa’s gonna buy you a mockingbird
And if that mockingbird won’t sing
Papa’s gonna buy you a diamond ring
And if that diamond ring turns brass
Papa’s gonna buy you a looking glass
And if that looking glass gets broke
Papa’s gonna buy you a billy goat
And if that billy goat won’t pull
Papa’s gonna buy you a cart and bull
And if that cart and bull fall down
You’ll still be the sweetest little baby in town
And if that cart and bull fall down
You’ll still be the sweetest little baby in town
Hush Little Baby
Golden slumbers kiss your eyes
Smiles await you when you rise
Sleep pretty baby do not cry
And I will sing a lullaby
Cares you know not therefore sleep
While I watch o’er you do not weep
Sleep pretty darling do not cry
And I will sing a lullaby
Golden slumbers kiss your eyes
Smiles await you when you rise
Sleep pretty darling do not cry
And I will sing a lullaby
Golden Slumbers
Good friends row silently
The time to fish seems right
The moonlight rays they shine
To brighten up the night
We must return to shore
Before the break of dawn
So we can rest some more
And waken with the morn
Chorus
Let’s sail the sea is beautiful
It’s time to get aboard
We’ll row the boat with heart and soul
And let our spirits soar
On to the masts let’s hoist the sail
The sky is clear and bright
The evening star it never fails
To guide the sailor at night
The evening star it never fails
To guide the sailor at night
Let’s Sail the Sea is Beautiful
Dear little one go to sleep
Gone are the birds and the sheep
No humming sound of the bees
Or the swift rustling of trees
Gardens and meadows are quiet
Moonbeams let flow their soft light
In through the windows they creep
Dear little one go to sleep
Sleep on … little one
Dear little one go to sleep
I’m near you so please don’t weep
Everything’s calm in the house
No stir or even a mouse
The moon and its silver beams
Glide in to sweeten your dreams
You dear in comfort they’ll keep
Dear little one go to sleep
Sleep on … little one
Dear little one go to sleep
Gone are the birds and the sheep
No humming sound of the bees
Or the swift rustling of trees
Gardens and meadows are quiet
Moonbeams let flow their soft light
In through the windows they creep
Dear little one go to sleep
Sleep on … little one
Sleep on … little one

Rock a bye baby in the treetop
When the wind blows the cradle will rock
When the bough breaks the cradle will fall
And down will come baby cradle and all
Rock a bye baby in the treetop
When the wind blows the cradle will rock
When the bough breaks the cradle will fall
And down will come baby cradle and all
And down will come baby cradle and all
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Rock a Bye Baby
Sing me a lullabyPuts me back to sleep ’til morning light Then I touch down on higher ground
Makes my wheels go round When I hear the sound
Of your laughter I hear the sound of your laughter
Hold me until the night Withers ’way to dawn
A ray of light brings me new eyesTo see the skies
Takes me up to heights On the wings of a dream I will fly On the wings of a dream I will fly
