This entailed researching police reports, choosing the most interesting incidents and writing about them in an intriguing manner. Also wrote about new businesses in the Toledo area for the six papers. Editorial Intern May 2014 - August 2014 Wrote copy about new businesses, event previews, calendar descriptions and feature stories about the Toledo area for the six publications under the company. Was also in charge of uploading all the stories from the print edition to the web. This included tagging the story, linking within the story and developing SEO headlines. The BG News, Bowling Green, Ohio Campus Editor August 2015 - May 2016 In addition to covering campus life and events on a regular basis, I am the editor for the paper’s web nights. This entails editing others’ stories, posting them on the website, tagging the stories and coming up with headlines.
