The international entertainment business is full of healthy competition of arts in the form of music, movies etc. On the contrary, the Nepali music and movie is often called egoistic, self-centered and unhealthy competition excluding a few number of professionals. As a result, few notable musicians and/or movie are the outcome; if we look back to the earlier couple of years. The entertainment business is often criticized as a platform of major influenced Indian Entertainment market. But, the sad part is that we are not being able to produce and project influential music and movies the Nepali music and movie fraternity that we are really capable of. Pros and cons are the aspect of every work division. Rather, I’d call it the way of life. We’ve built a habit of choos-ing the safer aspects of business or way of life. This has made us dull in quite a significant amount. It’s not that we lack in arts, culture, diversity and unity. Unity and diversity are the identity of life of Nepalese. The fact still remains that we’ve qualitative singers, composers, actors, directors etc. and still, we fail to deliver one chartbuster album and/or movie. Despite all our capacity, we are failing in delivering what we believed we could project. Why? This is a very important question one should ask to himself who are also a brick of this industry. When one realizes what he’s lacked, I think it is the saturated point of solution to enhance this so called ‘degrading entertainment’ business. The fact is even justified by the famous English quote, ‘all is well when end is well.’ I hope to see this scenario before the day; we call it ‘the end.’

“Rainbow seems beautiful but only when all its color scatters at a time, absence of any color can devaluate the rainbow as well. Same logic is with the Nation, It won’t get its real image flaunted until both of its aspects i.e. male as well as female won’t be equally prioritized. Lebanese philosopher and diplomat, Charles Malik had once said, “The fastest way to change society is to mobilize the women of the world” but it’s nothing than our society’s worst fortune that we have been ignoring this fact and encouraging male dominant side extremely.Although we have reached the most modern era i.e. 21st century, people have still been forced to adopt the blind belief mentality that male can only be participated for the earning of knowledge. According to them, male only have stamina to face the world. At a place where they are using their entire asset in male’s pro-gression, they are basically seeding disability in adolescent girls by keeping them inside the boundary for household work, serving sex, children production etc. It is advertised time and again that male and female are two sides of the same coin. People have artificially adopted it too. But isn’t it like under-estimating one among each sides? When we review one aspect other remains in shadow. Maybe that could be the fault our current societies have been repeating. Only because of that gender disparity in Nepalese society has remarkable stain on it as Nepal has the lowest female lit-eracy rate among the SAARC countries; the literacy rate of people above 6 years is 54 % among which 63 % are males and 42.5 % are females. The net enrolment rate for the males holds 86 % where females are with 74.60 %.

Apart from all those negative data Nepal seems to be attempting strong dedication and legal commitments to collapse gender-based violence and inequality. Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), Domestic Violence Act and a 5 year national strategy and action plan has been assembled into execution to minimize gender based violence. But instead of full stop upon this issue the merciful outcome has been grossed. 64% of Nepalese women are suffering from domestic violence. 52% women suffered from mental pressure among which 78% are literate. 86% women are unsafe in their own community. Out of 1581 survivors, 16% of women are victimized due to social violence. 7% of women (out of 1581 survivors) have been raped. 59% of women are raped from inti-mate relationship and 8% of it is incest. Females of 26-53 years are at the greatest risk of non-fatal intimate partner violence. Out of total women killed, 91% of the women have been killed by the people they know. Education Journalist of Nepal have mentioned in one of their report that the government policy continues to place the strong emphasis on educating adolescent girls.

As we know the Interim Constitution of Nepal 2063(2007) prohibits physical, mental or any other form of violence against women (VAW) and declares that such acts shall be punishable by law article 20(3). The interim constitution recognizes the right to equality as fundamental right. But one needs to adopt this law in-dividually. If not for women’s right then just for sake of law, adolescent girls should be kept away from violent surrounding. Eleanor Roosevelt has said, “Nobody can make you feel inferior without your permission,” so at first those adolescent girls themselves needs to stop under-estimating their strength and presence.

There are lots of government as well as non-government organization working in ensuring a better future by ending the cycle of violence. This isn’t whole truth that the government isn’t using capital upon it but despite of government huge investment on this sector, there is no any progress in this field, there must be some error going on. That’s why each individual should step in from their place. Some new policies be made through which some deserving specialists should be hired to detect the error and work upon it in certain time limit. Not only this much, there should be routine checkup by the other individual hired for it, just like the game CHESS where all the players are said to be safe when you keep them in care of one another.

Modeling or Glam business is one piece of hot cake anyone would have an eye for.

And having a modeling career is taken as a blessing. It’s one of the most desired

profession millions around the world have an eye on. Lights, camera and paparazzi;

anyone would love it. And being famous is a gift. Over the years, the Nepali glam

business has been witnessing ample of such models who’d love to be on camera or

over the ramps or in paper and magazine. Having said this, some would like to take

it as their point of satisfaction. Nishant Jung Shah is the name of such individual who

wouldn’t want to make a living out of it rather want to live with it. The boy next door

gaals, he’s onto business. A social activist by nature; precisely an explore and lover of

animals and nature, he wish to have a journey full of bright stars and helping animals

(that are basically a victim of a hit-n-run case.) here’s what he has to say;

Greetings! Why do you want to pursue your career in modeling?

Hi! I always wanted to be a model from my early days. I always wanted to be famous

but i was not unaware about the path. I was always searching for team. A team that

would guide me into the right track. Then I finally met Rajesh the photographer. Firoj

and Paul. I was focused on my studies and completed my masters in two subjects

(RD & SOCIOLOGY).

You can be famous in Medias through your social causes, why modeling?

It is one of my aims. I haven’t thought of having modeling as a career rather a point

of satisfaction. It builted up inside of me as a hobby. I haven’t thought that I’ll be a

super star.

Let’s say you got an opportunity in a movie, on the other hand you are a professional

guy. How would manage your schedule then?

There’s an old Nepali proverb “Khaney mukh lai jungale chhekdaina” it’s my hobby

and I respect this profession much. Even if I get an opportunity, I’d manage my time

any way or any how it’s up to me. Time management won’t be any problem.

How are you being prepared for your forthcoming modeling career?

Like I said, I have this willingness to work for the glass business from my early days.

Since I didn’t have any idea about the means and ways into this industry, I started

searching for my mentors. Finally I found a dedicated team. I believe in them. They

guide me into my modeling career giving me various training’s, suggestions etc. They

teach me the way into this fraternity. My team members are my mentors. I‘ve choosed

my way and I’m planning to work out into the music videos. Paul shah is today’s hot

cake on the business and I am lucky that he’s one of my mentors. He guides me and

lead me towards the right direction. Someday I’ll be grasping the momentum and my

team will be guiding me throughout the process

What are your prior achievements or actions???

Well I’m one among such models who’ve already got an opportunity to get featured

as a model for the much admired telecom company Ncell. The campaign existed for a

year and I was featured on the hoarding boards throughout the nation. Let’s just call

this an initial achievement. The best is yet to come. I’ve been also feature as a model

in a video of promotional internet packages.

Lastly…

Well, I’d like to thank MuzBuzz for this opportunity. I’d like to thank Ncell for providing

me the initial platform. Also, I’d like to thank my mentors; Paul, Rajesh and Firoj. And

yes; don’t hesitate to help the animals that are wounded or that are hungry.

From Birendranagar, Surkhet; a melodious voice has entered the music industry with his debut album titled Sanskaran. Suraj Shahi Thakuri has finally come into the industry with his most anticipated debut album. The album is composed and written by Udesh Shrestha, arranged by Rahul Pradhan and Kiran Tuladhar (1 song).

Suraj is a dedicated singer and a learner of eastern classical vocal. ‘Normally I ‘reeyaz’ for a couple of hours a day on harmonium,’ he started. Shastriya Sangeet diverts the throat of an individual to a magical height and one must at least have the basics of it. Ever since I was cautious about it, I began to follow it seriously. My journey started with learning. My first Guru is Shiva Pariyaar. I learnt with him for over a couple of years. Later, due to his busy schedule, I couldn’t continue with him and started learning with maestro Chandiraj Kafley under whose guidance I completed my fourth year in music from Illahabad University. I learned Tabala for a couple of years with a classical maestro Nirmal from India at the Indian Embassy. Later, I learned guitar with Bikash Sunuwar,’ Suraj starts his journey.

Today, Suraj is completely into music. ‘I’ve started composing songs too. I do a handful of stage shows. I recently did a song for Kishore Ghimire’s solo album. The song is titled Tyo Jhari which is composed and performed by me. Till date, I’ve composed over 2 dozen of songs for various artists and albums,’ he adds. He’s also planning for his new album. The album would witness the composition by Udesh Shrestha and Suraj himself. A song titled Najau Tarkera written by Kishore Ghimire has already hit the studios.

On asking why he chooses the singing career, he replies; From my early childhood, music would touch my feelings. I used to listen to the songs of Bhaktaraj sir, Narayan Gopal sir. When I came to Kathmandu, the environment was magically musical around me. This adds many assets on choosing my musical career. I think music is the easiest medium to exchange the feelings amongst audience.

MuzBuzz wishes him all the best in the days to come.

Udesh Shrestha’s music videos for the songs like Sakdina Jieuna, Tara Tipera, Nasalu Nayan and Yo Dashain ma has been released so far for his forthcoming album.

Greetings! Festival season just passed by. How was yours?Greetings! This Dashain was special to me. This was also with the fact that this was the 1st Dashain with my newborn son. Apart from this, I sang a Dashain and Tihar song titled Yo Dashain ma which was also for the first time in my 14 years long musical career. I enjoyed the festival with my family at home watching my Dashain song on the television. It was a moment of utmost joy and pleasure.

Why Dashain Tihar song after all these years?I always wanted to a Dashain/Tihar song from my early days. But things were not quite favorable then. Not just Dashain and Tihar, I wanted to do songs about our cultural festivals like Holi, New Year etc. When the climate changes so does the mood and feel of humans. At such point of intersections, we have our festivals to celebrate. I always wanted to do happening songs. My friends admired this Dashain/Tihar song. Kishore Ghimire wrote the song and was arranged, recorded and shot in a matter of 4 days. The energy within me made the song lively and my audience welcomed my effort. Tara Tipera, Nasalu Nayan and Sakdina Jieuna are this year’s essential hits. How did it happen?Well, after my hit numbers like Yo Junima, Kina Maya etc. in the initial days, people started asking me why I always did tragic songs. With such hit numbers, other of my songs that were much romantic or rock numbers were in shades. It was with this motive that I did Tara Tipera. The song is a collection of all those negative aspects in love interpreted in a jolly manner. I call it a funny interpretation. I wanted to be much of a versatile singer of the fraternity. So, I attempted the song. When it comes to Nashalu Nayan; I’ve attempted it in a slow rock pattern where I composed the song strumming the power chords. The melody came out all of a sudden while I was composing the song. I take this song as the initial point of composing romantic numbers. I was on process of visiting Bangkok and I was willing to shot its video there. So, I completed this song in a matter of 4 days. Songs like Sakdina Jieuna is a rock number. I composed this song keeping in mind about the live performance with a band at live shows. This is the kind of the song that gives maximum entertainment to the audience. How about the new album? Any plans lately? Well, my new album would be launched most probably on the New Year 2015. Recording 5 songs are al-ready accomplished. A couple of songs or three are on the go. Apart from this, I’m also planning to launch a VCD album titled Best of Udesh Vol. 1 on the same date. This is the good news to my fans that they would be getting two albums on the same occasion. Apart from this, a couple of music videos are also on stores titled My Love is True and Paagal. Nasocha Timi is on post-production. So, you’ll be getting much of me in the days to come. Also, I’m working on the solo composition of the songs in a movie whose name is yet to be confirmed.

RABI THAPA (RABI JUNG THAPA) is the name of a celebrated media person of the media fraternity. Currently, a youth media icon stationed

at Hits FM 91.2, his mystic voice has earned millions of fans; not just in the nation but around the globe. These days; he’s a topic of gossip. And the

reason is his debut album titled “Ek Pal” .Here is a brief talk with the youth media icon for the next generation. This is what he has to say…

RJ turned singer; what’s on your mind? Why suddenly you turned towards singing?

Singing was within me but I always hesitated to reveal it. The title song of my debut album “Ek Pal “ was composed 6 years back by Kalyan Singh so

you can say this is a work done so slowly that it took six.

Tell us about debut album. How did it happen?Like I said you I never rushed to release my songs or album. I used to play drum for a band and that was very long ago then when I joined radio the

eagerness for music grew even more so I thought of giving a try so I recorded my first song Bola then Kasailai , Ek pal and Ghin Ghinaghin now I am

done with 4 song of my album and 3 videos .

Being a media person, what are the pros and cons of doing musical album?Everyone knows there is less cd sell and more piracy these days so it’s really hard for musicians to earn from albums but Youtube and online sells make

sense so breaking an album is good when songs are worth buying or it’s good when musician are big shot and can spend hell lot of CASH on it.

What are your future plans as a ‘new born singer?’I am busy with a short movie “ Raajmarga “ for now after this short movie I will be doing another short movie “ kina “ where I will try to show women

violence in Nepal and gender discrimination and will release my other videos for sure .

If any, tell us something about your other aspects of arts. (May be a painter, writer etc.)Actually I prefer to be called as song writer than a singer. I have written numerous songs among them some are already recorded like Jitera Mero Mann

of Seema Sangraula and some are in process of recording. Few of my songs will be aired soon on the voice of Hemanta Rana , Dharmendra Sewan

and so forth .

Tell us about your music videos. My first video Kasailai is one shot video where we have tried to capture the emotions of different people on the ‘gallis’ of Bhaktapur , second video will be

the title track of my album Ekpal where I have featured Mrs. Nepal Rajani Thapa and third video is Bola and this will be total animated video . I always

try to do experiments via video and songs. I hope my projects will grab some attention.

Lastly, what do you have to say to your fans?Well, I have released my EP through sound cloud and its free to download so feel free to download and listen and don’t forget to comment if you guys

really want me to go further in music industry . And listen to Nepali music and keep on supporting.

Celebrating

Greetings! What’s up lately with you? Your fans complain that you’re

lost.I feel good when my fans ask me this question. Actually, I’m not lost. I’ve not been

able to produce music videos that were on aired on televisions. But the fact is that I’m

never far from music. In between these so called ‘gap’ I was equally working in music

providing my composed songs to the various singers in the fraternity. Its happy news to

my fans that I’m working on my 4th album titled ‘Bhraman’ due this summer. Three of

the new songs are already completed. The first song is titled Aaba Hamro Palo which is

written by Rita Thakuri. The song is about war-affected and handicapped children at a

social organization called CVDS. The album intends to act as a fund raiser or a helping

hand to the victim of such unfortunate events. This way, finally, I’ll also comprehend

my social responsibility as well. This gives me immense pleasure and satisfaction. The

second number is titled Dil Mero which is influenced by South-Indi music; pretty much

commercial. I call it a Pop-RnB-HipHop and party oriented number which features Girish

Khatiwoda and GXSOUL. It was written over a decade ago. The music video is sched-

uled to release shortly. The music video is directed by Arjun Dil Thakuri and shot/edited

by Sanjeev Rai. It would be out with a courtesy by my own MR Music company. Another

song is titled Aaba Hamro Bela which is composed, written and performed by myself.

The music video for the same song is accomplished by Inline Creation. The song is

written by Rita Thakuri. The song is directly influenced by the current day’s political

scenario. All the counter events may it be the liquid state or be it the youngsters flying

abroad for their future; one can hardly sleep at nights if they started thinking about it.

The song possesses a message that the youths of today would change the interface of

the nation. The song is believed to convey a positive message for the youths of today.

We don’t particularly understand the trend of artists launching album

via their own company. Please explain.Well, the fact is that each company binds artists with a minimum of a 5 year contract

but its implementation is rare. The distribution of royalty, amount from CRBT/PRBT dis-

tribution is not transparent at all. The payment schedules are odd and not transparent.

I’m lucky that I’ve been able to sustain in this fraternity with my on capabilities. The

companies are manipulating the artists. It is with this reason I choosed to have my own

company.

How do you think the political scenario is affecting the today’s gen-

eration?Well, politics directly influences each and every individual citizen of a nation. Due

to this political hiatus, there is some sort of frustration amongst the citizens. There is

massive rate of unemployment and our productive youth are fleeing abroad to secure

their future. The political liquid state has directly affected the entertainment business

too. None the less, this political hiatus won’t last long as our nation would be getting

the most anticipated Constitution in near future. And when law and order prevails, every

industry in the nation shall flourish. I’m optimistic towards it.

In the state of ‘so called political hiatus,’ how are the artists sustain-

ing?Well, the album sales are practically nil. Artists are at many encounters; the sole pro-

ducers of their albums. The only thing I can imagine about is some periodic stage

shows. While I’m performing in foreign lands, I find a deep level of love and affections.

Despite various tragic moments that becomes the headlines, our brothers and sisters

at foreign lands has been contributing a huge amount of remittance to the nation. They

are the ones, who are directly responsible to the nations today’s financial sustenance.

I salute such individuals. They organize various shows at various occasions and our

artists are getting a sign of relief. Besides, the local and regional concerts, stage shows,

mahotsavs etc. are the only tool for an artist to sustain in current scenario.

Lastly…I’d wish MuzBuzz would act much actively for the betterment of the music and enter-

tainment industry. I’d like to say that my new album would be coming out soon. So, stay

tuned for more updates in social networks too. I’d like to thank my fans, medias, friends

and families for their continuous effort.

Mings Lama sharing her journey

Women in music are always quite a scarce in the Nepali music fraternity. From the early days of the evolution

of the musical industry, this fact has been inevitable. Yet, time and again new faces come to this industry to

prove it wrong. One such name is Mings Lama from Boudha, Kathmandu. Though she’s not a new name in the

industry, she is willing to have a musical career on a long run. Some years back, she came to the music with

her debut album titled ‘It Happens; Yet to be,’ which turns out to be pretty much fruitful for her musical career.

Let us have a look insight into her musical career and find out what she’s up to;

Hi! We’d like to know how you made up your musical career.I was interested in music from my early childhood days. I recall that it was on my 2nd standard that learned harmonium with the legendary Gopal Yonjan sir. He taught me the

Sargam initially. But due to his ill health, I couldn’t continue. Later, I started learning music with Uday Sotang in the same year. I was also interested in dancing too. During

my school days, I stood third in a dance completion where contestants of various 10 schools participated. My teachers and principals would always motivate me in singing in

various school functions and it was mandatory for me to participate; may it be singing, dancing or dramas. This had implanted the seed of learning music inside my childhood

brains. Many individuals has appreciated my early effort and motivated me in continuing music. I’ve been learning music with Gurudev Kamad for the past two and half year. I

practice music for almost 1-2 hours taking time between my households.

Did your family support you in doing music?Well, family support was in full extent. My family always had a musical environment. My brother was solely into music. Though, he did a musical album in the past he’d to go

abroad for his education. My elder sister also used to listen to music most of the time. Even to this day, I’m getting full support from my family. My husband motivates me in

doing music too. It is with this motivation, support and love that I’m planning to do my new album. Currently, I’m selecting music and lyrics for the new album. One of the songs

is currently being arranged by Rahul Pradhan.

How was your struggle into the musical fraternity?Well, there were times I was starving and travelling arbitrarily here and there for my recording sessions. During the recording sessions of my debut album, I had jaundice. I was

weak and fragile. Yet, I manage to give my best shot. Even the friends from the media appreciated me and supported me much. The journey weren’t the bed of roses but yet, I

managed to breakthrough. What I realized is that if you are soft spoken and polite, you’d get welcomed in every door you knock. You need to give respect to get respect. It was

my dream from my early childhood and I was determined to go through every barrier that came in between.

Who were you inspired from?Gopal Yonjan sir taught me the initials of the music and I’ve been inspired from his suggestions and appreciations. He implanted me with the seed of music inside my raw child

brain. I’m also inspired with my guru Udaya Sotang and Gurudev Kamad. I might not be able to make the positions what the legendary singers had made but, my sole aim

would be towards achieving those milestones.

Tell us about your new album. The new album consists of 6 songs of romantic numbers, cello, pop-melody etc. the album is a blend of various moods of music. The new music video is scheduled to release

shortly. Music video for the song Chyangba Ho nachau is directed by Bishal Bhandari. The song is composed and written by Ashusen Lama. Another song is currently being

arranged by Rahul Pradhan which is composed and written by myself. I’ve also been associated with a handful of movies and got a chance to work with Shila Bahadur Moktan.

Lastly…I’d like to thank you for this opportunity to let me speak my thoughts and journey into this musical fraternity. I’m always thankful to my co-workers, fellow media persons, my

family and most notably my admirers and critics. I’d also want audiences to listen to my songs and reach me back with their valuable suggestions and feedbacks.

Marchhu Ki Kya Ho; OST from the movie titled Mokshya was last year’s essential hit by the versatile composer/singer; Binod Dhakal.

On inquiring about the song, he replies, ‘The song was written and composed some 12 years ago in my college days while

having fun with my college mates. The song was recorded six years hence. Prabin Shrestha, the director of the movie got

interested the first time he heard the song. The song was approved in the movie when almost all the works were about to

be finalized. Eventually, the same song was approved as the original sound track of the movie,’

Binod is currently busy with his new album titled Homework, a courtesy of Homework Entertainment. Apart from this, he’s also busy

with some of the songs of a movie which he doesn’t want to disclose the name. Our sources confirm that he’d be doing a movie as

one of the lead cast. We wish him all the best in the days to come.

A musical insight into the journey of Rajan Rajak

Study abroad in Japan, with New York Education Consultancy Pvt. Ltd!

Rajan Rajak was born on 23rd of August 1988 in Lainchaur. And like all

kids do, he too liked music much. As he grew up, he built an immense

passion towards playing drums. And he seeks to find a place in the Nepali

music fraternity with his musical skills making some notable contribution

to the musical universe.

‘Music has always been my great passion since my early days at school

where is started my music,’ says Rajan. On one of those school days,

one of his cousin brothers brought a drum set. Curious as his age was, he

was sitting on the chair trying to figure it out how I could possibly play it.

‘It’s not your age to play drums,’ says his cousin brother. ‘You can teach

me some,’ replied Rajan. And since then, both of them were like peas and

carrots. Rajan started to grasp the knowledge and techniques quickly and

in no time he could actually play the drums.

Rajan built this passion towards playing drums. And when he was not

satisfied with the limited knowledge, he started learning it. He used to

play drums with his school groups in all sorts of functions and in 2006

he decided to join Laliguras Kala Mandir. Soon after, he formed a band

named The Crossed band from where he continuously started his practice

sessions. Influenced by the western bands, he could actually play and

improvise on their songs. Disbanding struck the band as an inevitable

fact. Later, he joined The Back-Up Band in 2010. He’s been performing in

regular shows at various concerts, road shows, pubs and so on.

Rajan is a drum instructor these days at Excelsior School located at Shy-

ombhu. Above all odds, he’s continuing his musical dreams.

Located at Dillibazar, New York Education Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. is one

of the pioneer names for the students and path seekers willing to study

abroad. Established on the 26th of January, 2006, it has been providing

various opportunities to the students to pursue their career, or for further

studies in Japan. The consultancy has been specializing on counseling,

documenting and directing students for better future in Japan.

The Managing Director, Mr. Vinay Bisural has been acting effectively for

making New York Education Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. as one of the finest

career counseling consultancy that would guide the students to a proper

university providing a hassle-free documentation process, college and uni-

versity selection and much more.

‘It is due to the same reason that I’ve been living in Japan for the past

some time to select proper university and college and I’ve also taken affil-

iation of some respected colleges. What I want to ask the students who

want to pursue their education in Japan is that it is of utmost importance

to learn the Japanese language. My sole aim is to make New York Ed-

ucation Consultancy Pvt. Ltd as one of the pioneer abroad study center

for Japan. Well, lets just call it that I want to make it the number one in

Nepal,’ says Mr. Vinay.

Hi! Quite an Impressive name B Eight is. What does it means?Well, name is always an indispensible part of anything. We were searching for a peculiar and a good name for the band. Hundreds and thousands name came and went by. Later,

when we decided to name the band based on numerology, we got the name B Eight. A lot of luckier events within the band happened on the 8th of the month. Eventually, we all

agreed to name the band B Eight.

Tell us about the band. How did it happen?Initially, we didn’t start as a band rather a project. Later, the project was somehow leading us somewhere and music was the only element that bonded us throughout. We used

to appreciate each other’s perspective of doing music. We learned, experimented and implemented the outcome in our music. And miraculously, B Eight happened and we didn’t

realize until people finally started asking about it to us.

Almost 6 years, and finally in the medias; what took you guys so long?

We started with the same vision. We started with our own motives. Later, we realize that PR is an essential element for being in the Medias. We believed in our struggle and were

working with individual record label. We exercised our struggle into the digital and social platform. We got warm welcome by our listeners. Previously, we lack general attention

which was soon to change. We were in contact with senior artists learning skills. Like an old Roman saying, ‘Better late than never,” we finally were able to think about to be on

Medias. It became easier when our song K Yo Maya Ho was finally an essential hit of 2014 that crossed a million views on youtube. Coming up this late is somehow our weakness

too. We are not money minded and the walks-of-life taught us to be patient and practical.

When there is a band, there are musicians who play instruments. Its new here isn’t it?Well, it’s how you see things. A normal audience likes anything that pleases their moods or ears. Despite the fact that we don’t play any instruments as a band, we’ve divided our

music into melody, beats, lyrics, etc. That is the sort of thing we do while creating our music. We do RnB and Hip-Hop style of music. We’ve been experimenting with our traditional

and folk instruments like murchungs, madal, tabala etc. into our music. Having guts to implement our traditional instruments into genre like RnB and Hip-hop is challenging task.

This is a creative thing. We focus on creative music rather sticking on particular instruments. We love doing music and we do music for our pleasure in the first hand. If our music

could satisfy us, then only it is possible to satisfy the listeners.

Quite a hype, aye? Got any albums in stores for us?We have a hard copy of our debut album in the year 2009 itself. We are working to re-organize songs. Our album titled Ray Of Hope is one of our achievements. The Israeli

president Shimon Peres initiated a project where the song titled Ray of Hope written by him has been translated and composed in 30 different languages and we are happy to

represent our nation in this cause. We name the album after our song got selected by Song Weavers Foundation in Israel. Our new album includes 8 songs. We individually work

on the lyrics and composition aspects of our song.

So, tell us where you see B Eight five years down the lineWe believe that when you reach to the peak, you have to come down as well. We believe in the music we do. We won’t quit. We won’t lose this passion that’s inside our heart.

We are not focused on the forth coming future. Chances are that we’ll prioritize on our individual careers. May be we’ll be much matured and musically reach. We believe in name.

Whatever we do, our name will be there somewhere in the history of Nepali music. We’ll be happy with it.

That’s a hell lotta’ insight. Any ending notes? We are optimistic in music. We believe in our own music. We are 6 years old now. So, we’ll be supportive to the younger generations and responsible to the elders. Peace, music

and Love!

B EIGHT ON CLOUD9

K Yo Maya Ho which has already crossed over 1.72 million views in Youtube. Another hit number is titled Maunta Ma. The band has its

Angus Young of AC/DC says his band mates have not been in touch with Phil Rudd since he was charged with threatening to kill and possessing methamphetamine and marijuana last week.

Young, 59, said in an interview Thursday (Nov. 13) that Rudd’s behavior had been somewhat erratic during the recording of their new album. “Well, we had a few problems. The situation he’s in -- that took everyone by surprise. We had a few issues before with him, even when we were recording it was hard even to get to him to do the recording,” Young said, sitting in a room with bassist Cliff Williams.

A new father -- who lost both his wife and son just days apart -- has found some solace thanks to a classic Beatles trackChris Picco sang a tender version of “Blackbird” to his newborn son, Lennon, who was born via emergency C-section at Loma Linda University Hospital in California after Picco’s wife, Ashley, died suddenly Saturday. Lennon was originally due in February, but the tragic circumstances resulted in his birth 24 weeks into his mother’s pregnancy, according to a memorial website for Ashley.“Ashley would often feel Lennon moving to music so I brought my guitar today and gave him a little concert,” Picco wrote on his Facebook after performing “Blackbird.” The clip was uploaded to YouTube by a family friend on Wednesday and went viral after being posted on Reddit. In a little more than 24 hours, the video has already collected more than 400,000 views.
