Beyond acquiring skills and knowledge, students will experience different processes of learning and practicing in order to be better prepared for their future music theory courses and professional careers. 4. Assignments/homework–Atleastonceaweek.Mayconsistofexercisesfromthebook,writingamelody,bepreparedtosingamelody,oranyotheractivityrelevantforthecourse.

5. Quizzes–Atleastonceaweek,quizzeswillcovertheongoingandpreviouscontentoftheclass.

6. Classparticipation–Studentsareexpectedtobeactiveandcollaborativeduringclasses.
