HIS LIFE

tatürk was born in Thessaloniki on 19th of May 1881 and

died in İstanbul, Dolmabahe Palace on 10th of November

1938.

H

is mother was Zübeyde Hanım and his father was named

Ali Riza Efendi. Only one of Atatürk's siblings, a sister

named Makbule survived childhood; she died in 1956.

ustafa Kemal Atatürk was an Ottoman and Turkish

army officer, revolutionary statesman, writer, and the

first President of Turkey. He is the founder of the

Republic of Turkey.
