The MUST project was established in early 2014 in order to:

• firmlyestablishanationalinfrastructurewithinternationalcollaboration,dedicated in particular to the use and further development of autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) targeting primarily missions in the polar seas

•provide a centre for education and training in using AUV technologies for scientificpurposes,withspecialfocusonscientificmissionsinice-infestedwaters in the Arctic and the Antarctic

• create a “think-tank” environment for the development of innovative new payload sensors, instruments, data analysis and visualization

• and is dedicated to provide transparent national and international access to state-of-the-art underwater vehicles for marine and polar research by opening calls for the national and international research community.

MUST will have an AUV with under-ice going capacity available during 2015/2016.

MUST consortium seeks to employ: a senior and a junior AUV technician, dedicated to working with all aspects of their new AUV.
