Join historians and subject-matter experts for a one-day workshop on the history and cultural traditions of Islam. Subject-matter experts will be leading open discussions and break-out sessions on various topics such as Muhammad and the birth of Islam, history of the modern Middle East, and case studies in Muslim culture, art and literature. Open to middle and high school teachers. Resource books will be available to all participating teachers.
