The difference between the first and second draft

Music magazine double page spread

Page 2: Music magazine double page spread

The first draft of my music magazine needed improvements such as:

• A higher quality image, just like the first draft of the contents page there was a low quality image. In order to make the music magazine look more professional there needs to be more definition with image.

• Clearer writing to distinguish the interviewer from the interviewee.

• A better arrangement of the image.

• A consistent background, just like the front cover and contents page of my music magazine I have used a faded background which wasn’t really a convention of most music magazines.

• A quote, using a quote under the title will add a sense of realism to the magazine, it is also a convention of many music magazines

• A better use of colours.

First Draft

Second draft A better range of colours have been used in order to distinguish the interviewer from the interviewee. I Have used yellow for the interviewer and white for the intervieweeI have also used italics too on the questions to make it clearer who is asking the questions and who are answering them Unlike before instead of a faded background I have added a grey one which really makes the white stand out

I have also replaced the other image with a higher quality one to make the page more polished

A better arrangement of the image of the artist makes the two pages seem connected

In order to make the text seem more layered I have added a slightly transparent box

For a sense of realism I have added a quote from the artist
