Universiteti i Prishtinës me qëllim avancimi të arsimimit, karshi trendeve evropiane, është përcaktuar për një rrugë të integrimeve evropiane dhe të bashkëpunimit ndërkombëtar. Duke i mbështetur principet e Bolonjës për njohje dhe implementim e kredive ECTS, zhvillimit të politikave dhe sistemit të sigurimit të cilësisë në edukimin e lartë, zhvillimit të strategjisë universitare për edukim të vazhdueshëm, UP-ja merr pjesë në projekte evropiane për zhvillim dhe harmonizim të kurrikulave, mobilitet të studentëve dhe të stafit akademik, si dhe bashkëpunime bilaterale në fusha të ndryshme. Meqë bashkëpunimi ndërkombëtar në fushën e arsimit të lartë është shumë i rëndësishëm për Universitetin e Prishtinës, Zyra për Marrëdhënie me Jashtë e UP-së, me angazhimin maksimal të stafit, ka mundësuar gjenerimin e programeve të Komisionit Evropian, duke u bërë kështu fitues dhe pjesëmarrës aktiv në 3 programe Erasmus Mundus Action 2., gjë që e bën Universitetin e Prishtinës konkurrent serioz me universitetet e rajonit. Këto programe do të kontribuojnë në ngritjen e cilësisë së edukimit, të nxënit dhe hulumtimit në nivel të lartë ndërkombëtar. Programet në të cilat Universiteti i Prishtinës është pjesëmarrës në kuadër të kornizës Erasmus Mundus Action 2. janë programi Basileus, i cili koordinohet nga Universiteti Ghent i Belgjikës; programi JoinEU-SEE, i cili koordinohet nga Universiteti Graz i Austrisë, si dhe programi SIGMA, i cili koordinohet nga Universiteti i Varshavës, Poloni. Këto programe do të ofrojnë bursa për studime jashtë vendit në të gjitha nivelet e studimit (bachelor, master, doktoratë, post-doktoratë dhe mobilitete për staf akademik). Mundësi aplikimi do të kenë studentët dhe stafi akademik i Universitetit të Prishtinës, të cilëve do t’u mundësohen studimet dhe kërkimet shkencore në universitetet prestigjioze evropiane, siç janë: Universiteti Graz, Universiteti i Varshavës, Universiteti Ghent, Universiteti i Berlinit, Universiteti i Milanos, Universiteti i Bolonjës, i Mariborit, Universiteti i Londrës, Universiteti i Salzburgut, Montpellier, Universiteti Granada etj. Bursat do t’i mbulojnë të gjitha shpenzimet e regjistrimit, studimit dhe akomodimit për bursistët dhe shuma e tyre do të dallojë varësisht nga niveli i studimit. Universiteti i Prishtinës me qëllim avancimi të arsimimit, karshi trendeve evropiane, është përcaktuar për një

Meqë bashkëpunimi ndërkombëtar në fushën e arsimit të lartë është shumë i rëndësishëm për Universitetin e Prishtinës, Zyra për Marrëdhënie me Jashtë e UP-së, me angazhimin maksimal të stafit, ka mundësuar gjenerimin e programeve të Komisionit Evropian, duke u bërë kështu fitues dhe pjesëmarrës aktiv në 3 programe Erasmus Mundus Action 2., gjë që e bën Universitetin e Prishtinës konkurrent serioz me universitetet e rajonit. Këto programe do të kontribuojnë në ngritjen e cilësisë së edukimit, të nxënit dhe hulumtimit në nivel të lartë ndërkombëtar.

Programet në të cilat Universiteti i Prishtinës është pjesëmarrës në kuadër të kornizës Erasmus Mundus Action 2. janë programi Basileus, i cili koordinohet nga Universiteti Ghent i Belgjikës; programi JoinEU-SEE, i cili koordinohet nga Universiteti Graz i Austrisë, si dhe programi SIGMA, i cili koordinohet nga Universiteti i Varshavës, Poloni.

beneficiaries (international or according to the national legislation of one of the EU recipient countries); OR

• have been the object of unjustified expulsion from university on racial, ethnic, religious, political, gender or sexual inclination; OR

• belong to an indigenous population targeted by a specific national policy or IDPs

Aims of JoinEU-SEE• Facilitating the mutual enrichment of societies by supporting

the development of individuals’ qualifications in order to im-prove their employability on the labour market and help them develop openmindedness and international experience

• Promoting the academic mobility of excellent third country students, academics and researchers, in particular from vulne-rable groups, in order to offer them the opportunity to obtain qualifications and experience in the EU

• Enhancing the international cooperation capacity of Western Balkan universities by sharing good practice and knowledge in the organization of mobility programmes for the purpose of studying, joint teaching, training and research on the basis of the principles of non-discrimination and equal opportunities

Who can apply?Students and staff members of all partner universities, both from EU and Western Balkan countries, as well as other nationals of any EU country and the Western Balkan partner countries.

Types of scholarships and duration*The scholarship includes a monthly allowance (see below), tuition fee (where applicable), travel costs and insurance (travel, health, accident).

Fields of StudyAll universities in the JoinEU-SEE consortium are comprehensive universities that offer a wide range of studies which are open to participants of the exchange programme. erasmus munDus ation 2, stranD 1The EMA2 programme is a co-operation and mobility scheme in the area of higher educa-tion. The European Commis-sion has launched this initiative

to foster cooperation between higher education institutions from outside the EU with EU universities. It aims to boost exchanges of students, researchers and academic staff and to support mobility, in particular from non-EU countries to EU member states. There are different lots for different re-gions in the world and for each of them consortia have been formed. Students, researchers and staff from the area can apply to the selected consortium for scholarships.

the basileus projeCt The objective of the Basileus project is to promote mobility for students and staff between the Western Balkan coun-tries and the EU; to enhance the understanding and the international cooperation between higher education insti-tutions in both regions; to pave the way to international recognition of studies and qualifications and to enhance the role of the higher education sector by exchanging knowledge, skills and expertise. The Basileus project strives to build structured long-term cooperation between all part-ners, resulting in a sustainable network. It offers the oppor-tunity to boost the ex-change of know-how for curriculum development, university-enterprise co-operation, international relations and university management.

basileus iVIn this brochure you will find information about a European mobility project for the Western Balkan region. This project is known as Basileus and provides scholarships for students and staff.

If you are a national of Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo* or (FYRO) Macedonia and want to study, teach or do research in a EU university, you can apply for a mobility scholarship within the project’s framework on the level of Bachelor, Master, PhD, post-doctoral research and academic staff exchange.

EU citizens who want to study, teach or do research in Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo* or (FYRO) Macedonia can also apply for a scholarship.

from partner universities in the EU (Target group 1).

• All applicants must have finished at least one year of

university studies.

• Applicants from the Western Balkans cannot have spent

more than a total of 12 months over the last 5 years in

one of the EU countries.

Target group 1

Students, researchers, academic and administrative staff registered at

one of the Western Balkan or EU partner universities. Applies to:

undergraduate, master, doctoral students, post doctorate, academic

and administrative staff (nationals of one of the Western Balkan

Countries).

Target group 2

Nationals of one of the Western Balkan countries registered in a higher

education institution not included in the SIGMA consortium. Applies to:

Master students and staff.

Target group 3

Nationals of one of the Western Balkan countries in particularly

vulnerable situations, e.g. for political or social reasons. Applies to:
