Just 15 minutes west of Joondalup, located right on the edge of the Indian Ocean, is Mullaloo Surf Life Saving Club’s Function Venue. Completely refurbished in 2016, the new venue boasts three rooms that can be combined into one to serve a wide range of functions. Floor to ceiling windows allow an almost-panoramic view of the beach and ocean, creating an incredible backdrop for your next conference, training session, celebration dinner, party or wedding.

AvailabilityMullaloo SLSC is an active surf club all year round and Member activities often use the venue facilities. Venue hire is not available on Friday evenings and Sundays.Our venues are available for casual hire and regular bookings.

InclusionsAs well as helping our Club to maintain the highest quality beach safety and care for our Community, your hire fee includes:

• Use of rectangular tables and chairs*• White board, wall-mounted TV screens, microphone & speakers*• Tea/Coffee station if required

CapacityThe maximum capacities for each venue area is detailed opposite. The overall maximum capacity is 300 and we invite you to come and view the spaces to determine which will best suit your function.

Service of AlcoholMullaloo SLSC holds a Club Restricted Liquor License and operates a strict Responsible Service of Alcohol policy at all times. If you require alcohol to be served at your event, please contact us to discuss your requirements. No BYO alcohol is permitted at any time.

CateringMullaloo SLSC currently cannot provide any catering services. You are welcome to engage an external caterer however it is requested that they view the space with you to ensure adequate preparation and service space.

Function Rooms 1 and 2 can be combined to create a larger function space with a sound-proof wall separating it from the Club Lounge.

Lounge & Sun DeckWith spectacular views over the beach and ocean, the lounge contains Mullaloo SLSC’s bar and outdoor sun-deck area, complete with two gas barbecues for your use. Capacities:Boardroom: 20 Classroom: 22 Theatre: 36U-Shaped: 30 Cocktail: 200 Banquet: 90

About Mullaloo Surf Life Saving Club

Our mission to is provide activities and services for a safer and more sustainable community.

Established in 1961, our Club is a dedicated volunteer organisation providing opportunities for life. We provide our community with many services including beach safety and the prevention of injury, surf rescue, surf sports and a great facility on the beautiful Mullaloo Beach.

We welcome new members and visitors who share our passion for serving our community.

Our Core Activities include:

• Life Saving patrols every weekend and public holiday between October and April

• Education of current and future life savers to ensure the best possible care on the beach

• Surf Sports to develop life saving skills in a fun, competitive environment

• Nippers & Youth programs to invest in life savers of the future

• Skills development through volunteer involvement

Bar Prices

Due to its Club Restricted Liquor License, Mullaloo SLSC provides the service of alcohol via beverage packages, a bar tab (paid for by the event organiser) or as a cash bar (only when a meal is provided). Meals can be provided by an external caterer - please discuss your requirements with Mullaloo SLSC before engaging a caterer. Alcohol consumed at your function must be supplied by Mullaloo SLSC; no BYO alcohol is permitted.
