What materials and techniques does the artist use?

Choose a particular piece of work and describe it THOROUGHLY! Comment on composition, scale, tone, colour, texture, shape, pattern etc. All visual elements.

What does the work mean? Do some research to find possible meanings. What does the work mean to you? Why?

How is this influencing your work? What elements of their work are you going to include in yours? What will you do differently? Why?

Be sure to make a note of all of your sources and reference them using MLA referencing.

Also, ensure you label the origin of your images using MLA too!

Explain how you came up with your initial ideas.

Explain where you gathered your observations / first hand resources. (photographs / sketches etc.

Why did you choose the artists that you chose?

How was your work was inspired by your selected artists? Similarities / Differences- in terms of media, techniques, meaning and purpose.

How did you create your outcome? Techniques, method, materials, process.

What is successful about your outcome? Why?
