It includes opportunities for giving homemade gifts to seniors at Purim and helping with a Passover Seder in a residential life care facility, planting a garden to help provide vegetables to those in need, packing food at a food distribution warehouse, baking with adults with special needs, and preparing customized packs of everyday essentials for children. These experiences will greatly and positively influence how your child views his/her role in the world. Our students translate Jewish values of education, spirituality, and service into a meaningful way of life and a Jewish identity. A variety of meaningful community mitzvah projects – you can sign up for as many as you like An opportunity to be part of a group who truly cares about others A great way to make new friends and share experiences Onsite supervision by Jewish Community High School staff All arrangements taken care of for you Assistance provided for a personal presentation of the project PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
