Introducing “Movement” Data•One data set (staff counts and salary mass) - 3 audiences • Listing of administrative staff •M, C, T, LA, Trades and services• Regular and Contracts
• Compares data at two different points in time• easy to see what’s changed and impact on salary mass
• Identifies internal and external movement:• Internal: McGill staff moving inside McGill e.g.
developmental assignment, promotion, lateral move• External: Staff entering or exiting McGill e.g. new hires
•Describes the movement: Hire, Termination, Dept. Change, Job Change, Status Change…• Lists salary, fund type and org. hierarchies, etc… etc…
