Celebrating the bond between a mother and child

A’mel SpenceMy Mom, Sia SpenceMy mom is a very special

person. She cares about me because she loves me. She loves me so much that sometimes when she talks to me I cry love tears because I love her so much.

My mom does so many things for me. She cooks for me and I love her cooking.

I always get my home-work right because she helps me.

She takes me every-where I need to go. She gets me what I need, which is clothes, food and a home. She buys my school supplies, too.

My mom plays with me, takes me to the beach and swims with me.

We go together to get snowballs and ice cream and we go to birthday parties together.

We do projects together. We go to the playground

and go on the slide and the swings. She takes me running sometimes.

My mom gave birth to me and she set my life free. She takes me to church and teaches me about God.

She disciplines me when I do something wrong. That’s one reason why I love my mom.

She is a singer and she teaches me how to sing. That’s why I love to sing. She prays with me. I love her! She is my hope!

Aunde ToddMy mom is the most

special mom in the whole entire world.

She makes me feel happy because she teaches me.

She helps me in football and teaches me how to do good things in football.

She makes me better at things by practicing with me.

My mom plays with me and I like to do that with her.

She plays board games with me. We play Monopo-ly, Uno and also Operation. We have fun.

Sometimes she takes me to the beach. I like the beach because it gives my mom and me exercise. My mom is so much fun!

My mom buys me a lot of clothes. I only get clothes and shoes when I have good

manners and when I help people and do my chores for her.

She is very responsible and helps me to find things when they are lost.

My mom protects me. She disciplines me when I am disobedient. That’s a good thing because I have to have discipline if I have been bad.

She helps me calm down

if I get mad. She takes me to church and helps me to read the Bible about God and Jesus!

My father and my broth-er and I help my mom. We all help each other because we are a family and we love each other.

ny. She works at HSBC. I have an account there and I put money in the account for college.

My mom helps me get my education by teaching me tricks to learn my times table. She helps me do my homework, but not all the

time because I am a smart boy.

All my mom wants me to be when I grow up is to be successful.

She does a lot of things for me. She takes me to all of my sports activities, and you know that a boy likes sports, so he needs some-one to take him to all of his sports activities!

Every day when she drops me off, she kisses me.

My mom cooks lunch for me every day and she buys me all the stuff I need for school.

She washes my clothes. She doesn’t like to clean, but she stays healthy by running and going to the gym. She is lots of fun!

My mom gets me on the right path to life. She does not like rude children.

I am a good boy, so I do not get in trouble.

For my mom’s birthday I am going to be the grand-est eight-year-old in the entire world and not get in trouble, from her birthday to Christmas.

I might get in trouble once or twice, though.

So all you three, four, five, six, seven and eight-year-olds — you need to be good to your moms, too!

My mom is the best mom in the world!

Jessie DeBragaMy MomMy mom does a lot for

me. She cleans, cooks, helps me and more.

When my clothes are dirty she cleans them. She cooks breakfast, lunch and dinner for me.

No matter where I go, my mom is by my side. She takes me from place to place.

When I am sad, she makes me smile. If I’m sick, she is there to help me get better.

If I am scared she makes me happy. I don’t care if I have to live on the street; as long as I am with her I know she will protect me!

My mom helps other people, too. She takes good care of my Nana. She does everything for all of my family, not just me, but also my dad and my sisters and brother, and my nephew, and soon she will help my niece!

When we need some-thing she will help or do it herself.

I love my mom and the whole family loves her.

She is the best mom in the whole wide world.

When I am older I want to be just like her! She is the nicest person that I know. She is kind, nice and funny.

Not for all the money in the world would I want a different mom.

NOTHING in the world would make me change my mind!

I will do anything for her, and she will do the same back for me. That shows how much she loves me.
