For more than 25 years, Mars Gallery has been home
to hundreds of fundraisers, weddings, corporate
meetings, cocktail receptions, birthday parties,
anniversary celebrations, showers, engagement parties
and more. We are proud to be one of Chicago’s most
unique event venues.
Located in Chicago’s historic West Loop market
district, the gallery is housed in a converted brick
warehouse building. A traditional turn-of-the-century
loft, the gallery features hardwood floors, wood
beamed ceilings, and rose-colored brick walls. This
beautiful, multi-level, art-filled space is the perfect
setting for your event. Surrounded by art, you’ll find
you can keep decor to a minimum.

DATES We are frequently booked many months in advance, and
popular dates get booked up to a year before. If you’re
considering Mars Gallery, please contact us ASAP to
discuss potential dates.
SIZEWith two floors of space, Mars Gallery offers flexibility
when it comes to designing your event. We can
accommodate up to 70 seated guests for an upper level
presentation or ceremony; our main level can fit up to 70
seated guests for a plated dinner.
Looking for just a reception space? We can accommodate
up to 150 guests (on both our main and upper level) for
a standing cocktail reception. And our upper level can be
converted into a rockin’ dance party space.
Plus+ You’ll have our undivided attention, because we only
book one event at a time at Mars Gallery.
AMENITIES Your rental fee includes a bar area, a sound system with
CD player, satellite radio, and iPod/iPhone compatibility;
wi-fi access; a limited number of tables, chairs and
highboys; ice coolers and trash bins; a coat room and coat
hangers; and much more, including:
High-boy tables (6) – round 30” x 42” high
Skinny banquet table 18” x 72” x 29” high
Regular banquet tables (9) – 30” x 72” x 29” high
Large wooden table 43” x 78” x 30” high
Folding chairs – black (70)
High cake table 27” x 47” x 44” high
Coat racks (4)
Black linens for tables
Need other items? We welcome rentals from outside ven-
dors, and can recommend some of our local favorites.
PARKING & VALETStreet parking is available. We can help you choose a valet
parking vendor.
ACCOMMODATIONS Located just a few train stops or a quick cab ride
from Chicago’s Loop, Mars Gallery is near numerous
hotels in every price point. Contact us for specific

RENTAL FEES You’ll find that Mars Gallery is competitively priced for a
downtown Chicago venue.
Main level gallery for $250 per hour
Both the main and upper level gallery for $350 per hour
Rental fees include two staffers—one bartender and one
event worker—plus numerous amenities. We require a non-
refundable deposit of two hours, paid in advance, to hold
your date.
Misc fees may apply for additional staff, ice, cleaning and
rental equipment handling charge.
We know you’ve got a lot on your plate. Here are two
sample timelines to help you imagine an ideal schedule for
your wedding event:

VENDORS Are you a DIY bride? Are your wedding Pinterest boards
overflowing? If you’re a dreamer and a planner, we’re the
space for you. We encourage our couples to get creative with
decorations, food, music and more.
You can choose your own vendors, including: caterers,
photographers, audio/visual coordinators, DJs, florists, bakers
and more. We can also suggest some of our favorite local
superstar vendors.
