Pliers

Point the shotgun in a safe direction and place the saftey in the "on" position. Next, pull back on the slide and carefully inspect the chamber to be sure the shotgun is unloaded.

Fits: Most 20 GA Mossberg 500/535/590/835 and Remington 870’s NOTE: The forend included in ths package is compatible with (1) Mossberg Shotguns with a removable forend, any Mossberg newer than 2006 should be checked to insure that it has a removable forend. (2) Winchester Forend Tubes with a minimum length of 6 1/4” are required for use of this product.

Begin by unscrewing the magazine cap by turning the cap counter clockwise as seen in Figure 1.

Next, you will remove the barrel by pulling it out of the receiver as seen in Figure 2.

A OEM Forend Removal -Continued

Using a magazine socket wrench unscrew the forend nut as seen in Figure 3A and than remove as seen in Figure 3B.

Slide the forend off of the magazine tube as seen in Figure 4.

Once you have prepared your Tacitcal Forend for installation, remove all of the Forend Ribs before installing the Forend to your firearm as seen in Figure 1A and 1B . DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL YOUR FOREND WITH THE RIBS STILL IN PLACE.

B Picatinny Rail Installation -Continued

Begin by installing the side picatinny rails onto the tactical forend by sliding (2) 6-32 hex nuts into the slot on the inside of the tactical forend as seen in Figure 2. NOTE: Be sure to hold the hex nut on the inside with your finger to prevent the hex nut from sliding out of place.

Install the side picatinny rail onto the rail slot on theoutside of the forend and using the supplied 6-32 x 3/8"screw, tighten to the hex nut on the inside of therail as seen in Figure 3. Repeat for the other side picatinny rail.

Your Tactical Shotgun Forend will come with several front and rear adapters. Make sure to use the proper adapters by looking at the inside of the adapter. Each one is marked with one of the following as seen in Figure 1.

C ATI Tactical Forend Installation -Continued

Begin by removing the plastic molding bridge from the front and rear adapter by using a pliers or knife before installing it to the forend as seen in Figure 2.

Place the spacers as seen in Figure 3A into the Forend as seen in Figure 3B.

Take the forend and slide it onto the magazine tube as seen in Figure 4A until it is all the way seated into the forend as seen in Figure 4B.

Next, take the forend nut as seen in Figure 5A and using a magazine socket wrench tighten it to the forend as seen in Figure 5B.

Slide the barrel over the magazine tube as seen in Figure 6 and seat into the receiver.

Take the magazine cap as seen in Figure 7A and screw onto the magazine tube as seen in Figure 7B to complete your installation.
