The American cornerstone of ordered society, which is marriage between a man and a woman, is in serious trouble. Our last night of Awana for this club year!

April 22: It is AWARDS NIGHT! Wear your Awana shirt and invite your parents to come! Kids will shop the store for the last time and spend all their points! We will enjoy an “Obstacle Course Inflatable” during play time! Arrive between 5:00 and 5:30 for a “hot dog supper!”

This is the last night of our suppers until Awana starts back in September. Serving hot dogs this week! A special thank you to all the faithful Kingdom Café volunteers! Your food has been wonderful!

What will we do after Awana ends? Your child can join the “Piney VBS” children’s drama/musical by attending our practices. Please come join the fun ! ! ! We assemble in the gym! We only have a few practices so it is very important to attend each one! For ages 3 through 6th grade! Our VBS theme this year is “Journey Off The Map!”

VBS Worker’s Meeting is Wednesday May 6th in the Fellowship Hall at 6 p.m.

This is the ONLY night we get together and talk about our VBS at Piney! We are

asking workers to bring their favorite sandwiches, desserts & soft drinks, and we will enjoy them during our training time.

*We will have decorated rooms ready to view & breakout sessions including:

* Crafts: Led by Joy Queen in C200 * Preschool: Led by Pam Garmon in C107 (Pam is also teaching at the Assoc. Clinic at New Bethel Monday night at 6:00 pm.) *1st & 2nd grade Bible Study: Led by Bonnie Copeland in C206 *3rd & 4th grade Bible Study: Led by Sonya Triplett in C203 *5th & 6th grade Bible Study: Led by Carolyn Petty in C201 *Boys Craft Leaders, Recreation, & Refreshment teams will also meet. *Even though we have special rooms ready for you to view later in the evening, the meeting begins in the Fellowship Hall!

Bring your teaching packet and a sample of the crafts you are making with your

class and let’s all share our ideas! We will learn the theme song and T-shirts will be for

sale! If you can donate a small door prize that would be nice, but not required! We always

have lots of food, fun, fellowship, and leave excited about VBS! Childcare for all ages is

provided! STOP by the GYM first and leave your children at childcare and kids choir.

The children will not eat with us but will be served a pizza supper in the gym…
