For the 60th anniversary of our NEOCOLOR I wax pastels,

Caran d’Ache presents an “Original Vintage Gift Box”

commemorating 60 years of passion for wax pastels.

Certain objects have a permanent place in our memory and Caran d’Ache NEOCOLOR I pastels are a perfect example. Everyone has a NEOCOLOR I story to tell. The distinctive smell of the wax, its oily texture, fingers covered with bright colors, their first artistic feelings or first work of art that had personnel sentiment. Since 1952, NEOCOLOR I pastels have been used by generations of school children all around the world and by countless artists of all ages and artistic ability. Yet these world famous wax pastels are just as contemporary today as the day they were first introduced.

To celebrate their 60th anniversary, Caran d’Ache has re-created an “Original Vintage Gift Box”,

a treasure chest full of pastel colors and memories. This special edition set offers a cameo of 50 rich, brilliant colors including 10 metallic colors and 10 new shades on the theme of portraiture. The new portrait shades have been specially formulated for this occasion and selected in collaboration with experienced pastel artists.
