WELCOMETO MORRISON’S ACADEMY NURSERY

The Nursery has a play room, wet and messy play area and generous IT provision. Specialist teachers visit to lead sessions in languages, music and art. The children also visit the main sports facilities weekly for fun sporting activities with qualified PE staff, in addition to participating in a range of other main school activities. Trips beyond the Nursery are organised on a regular basis.

Experienced, well-qualified staff recognise the children as individuals and encourage each child to integrate with others. With sympathetic guidance, the children engage in a wide variety of activities, giving them a breadth of experience and instilling in them a spirit of enquiry in preparation for the exciting world of school.

The Nursery is a very safe sociable environment for children, staff and parents and there are opportunities to meet together informally during the year. A toddlers’ group meets every week for those with children younger than 3 years.

The dedicated and enthusiastic staff ensure happy, contented and motivated children. Together they guarantee a warm welcome to you and your family.

Our new purpose-built spacious Nursery, with outstanding facilities and outdoor play areas, is located on our main school campus, with direct access from Victoria Terrace, Crieff.

The Nursery accommodates up to 48 children aged 3 years and over. We welcome families requiring Nursery provision only and also those for whom our Nursery is the start of an all-through Morrison’s Academy education from 3 to 18 years. Flexible Nursery session arrangements, After School Club and Holiday Club ensure first class care is available throughout the year.

As a Partner Provider for Nursery for Perth and Kinross, the maximum nursery grants are available.
