One of our Boy Scouts has asked if he could to do this project as his "EAGAL SCOUTS" PROJECT.

YES WE ARE ABOUT THE KIDS. He will be looking for donation to help him. We have had a

request to build a “Fire Pit” Sounds like a great idea. To sit outside and roast marshmallows or

build smores, with great conversation. The trees have been removed and that area is a great

place. If you would like to be a part of this project let us know, maybe the R V Club would like

Governor’s Report

Greetings, we have instituted some changes in Monday and Friday night dinners. Instead of

$4.00 for Salad Bar, it will be $3.50 for Salad only and $1.50 for Salad with dinner. Also only

ONE trip to the salad Bar. For those of you who might wonder why the charge for salad with

dinner, it’s because our cost for a small salad is $2.05 and some of you were taking advantage of

the free salad and making several trips to the salad bar. On the good side of things the Horse

racing event went well, we gave $738.00 to Moose Legion and the winning horse got $857.00.

We plan on having a Lodge Race set up for the end of September. I hope to see you all there for

fun and merriment. We also plan on having a Board member present at the majority of the events

that happen at the Lodge, we hope this will help our guests and members feel more at home. We

are having a blood to be determined feel free to show up and give a little blood. Again I want to

thank all the volunteers that come out to make our Lodge a success. Without you we would not

be as successful as we are. If you have some free time come on down and help out, remember

the lodge is only as successful as you make it. Also as you know from last month’s newsletter

we have moved the General Meeting to the 3rd

Monday of the Month. If you have any concerns

about the lodge or other comments to make this is your opportunity to make them known. Come

down have dinner and make yourself known. I for one would like to get to know you better.

Also in case you haven’t noticed, we had the back parking lot slurry sealed and re-striped.

We are also having a Car Show on 4th Wednesday of the next 3 months starting the 24th

of June.

Show up and check out the cool cars in the back parking lot. We will be serving BBQ

Hamburgers or Hot Dogs, French Fries and Potato Salad, Beer on Tap or Cold Drink and all for

only $12.50. Can’t beat the price and the Car Show is free.

Administrator’s Message Your board has made some changes. The free Birthday meal will be available on

the 3rd Monday of the Month. See Notice.

WE have had our parking lot resurfaced and restriped. It will help to preserve

the asphalt for a couple more years.

Our General membership meeting night will be changed to the 3rd Monday of

the month at 7:00 starting in May 18th. It is the people that show and express

themselves that steer your lodge in any direction.

A member has offered to replace our carpet. If you would like to help decide

what color come to the membership meeting.

WE will have a car show the 4th Wednesday of the next 3 months. Live

entertainment by the Silverado's has been secured. Barbeque meals well be

available. Bring your favorite car or come on down and drool over the ones

that show. Some are even for sale at times.

Our pool table has been refurbished new bumpers and top installed by

Carisa Shinn, what a great job thank you Carisa.

Volunteers make your loge work so we can help the Kids.

Nashville is coming up for anyone who would like to go. You will be

represented by your Administer and Governor as required by Moose

International.

We are starting to put a Halloween party together for Oct 31st

HELP WANTED OR LOOKING TO VOLUNTEER We have almost 1000 members between the men and women for this lodge. Of those

members there are sure to be many members with various skills (i.e. plumbers, electricians,

painters, housecleaners, etc.) There are also many members who need your help with these

types of services.

Let’s try and support each other. Let us know what your specialty is, or your need, and we

may be able to get you connected with someone who can help, or use your services.
