HABITAT

The great majority of the mooses are from the forests of Northerm Europe.

They are from Asia and America too.

FOOD

• They belong to the deer’s family, they are herbivorous too.

• They eat leaves of different type of trees from branches to bushes of poplars, willows, alders,… They eat aquatic plants too.

• They are hunted because of their meat and their milk too.

DESCRPTION

• Mooses usually are:~ Its body’s length is between 2,40-

3,10m.~ The distance between one end of the horns to the other is 2,50-3,50 m.~ Ist weight is around 350-450 Kg.

• The most of the mooses are brown.

CURIOSITIES

• Mooses can cross the road and this is a danger, not only for mooses but also for drivers.

• Irene has got some friends that have lived an experienece with a very big moose.

• If you look for photos on the internet, you can see that they’re enormous.

TRAFFIC SIGNAL

• In Canada, they have made a traffic signal to alert drivers, because the mooses on the road are very dangerous.
