What are the dangers of Monster Trucking?

Apparently this is a safe sport, even though it is crushing and demolition. The trucks have a lot of safety regulations,, like the driver has to wear a fire prof suit, a balaclava and glasses. The truck has fire extinguishers on board and have a turn off radio.
