ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING

It describes the process and activities that need to take place to characterize and monitor the quality of the environment.

Environment monitoring is used in the preparation of environmental impact assessments as well as in many circumstances in which human activities carry a risk of harmful effects on natural environment.

The JINDAL steel is very much concerned about the impact on environment and has therefore taken adequate measures & adopted the best pollution control norms available in the world. One of the major steps taken towards protecting the environment & reducing soil degradation is the usage of fly ash brick in all construction activities at the project sites.

To Promote a green & clean environment the company proactively implement the concept of green productivities & takes preventive measures in & around various facilities. Conservation of natural Resources & pollution Control is a part of its operation module.

The CO has taken a holistic stance for the protection of environmental resources and taken preventive measures as a part of its operation module.

Jindal Steel company has built up a strong Environment Management Department (EMD) having multidisciplinary team of professional and technical staff at each of sites reporting to Unit Head. The environment management department looks after all the activities related to environment during the entire project life.
