To empower local communities in urban ger areas through

increased participation in local governance and in thedesign, implementation, management, monitoring and

evaluation of community demand-driven infrastructure and

Ger areas are marginal settlements located around the cities and towns inMongolia. Their name derives from the traditional dwelling many people live in,the Mongolian "Ger". Ger areas are settlements with high in-migration and

underdeveloped social and technical infrastructure.
