The motto of the MUSVP is the school motto quoted from the school founder Sir John Monash. It states thus; ‘Make it your ambition to equip yourself for life not solely for your benefit alone but for the benefit of the whole community’.
• Motivated to help in a variety of ways and areas;
• Utilitarian in their approach as they consider what is best for the greatest number of people;
• Sacrificial of time and resources of their own choice to accomplish objectives;
• Vocal of the needs of communities around;
• Passionate about what they do;
