DataPower, MQ and related middleware technologies. Worked extensively on various projects utilizing IBM SOA DataPower XI50, XI50B, XC10 and XG45
Gateway appliances. Understands the complexity of integration implementation of the application system, business functionality, tools and processes involved in delivering middleware enabled services.
Worked on waterfall model before moving to AGILE methodology of SDLC last year. Regular participation (and organization, when needed) in team scrum calls to provide update on developmental activities as part of each sprint.
Developed multiple services to provide integration for simple/chained A2A & B2B services on IBM SOA products like XI50B, XG45 and XC10.
Developed services utilizing SOAP, REST and fixed format (over mq) in frontend and backend. Also developed services that have database backend, used IBM Design Studio in the process to analyze SPs and run queries.
Extensive knowledge of AAA, SSL and SLM configurations, among others. IBM Certified on SOA Datapower firmware versions 3.8 and 5.0 and worked on all GA/special build
versions on dataower right from v3.8, v4.2.0.5, 4.2.0.8, 5.0.0.4, 6.0.0.1/nn13/nn18, 7.0.0.4, 7.2. Worked closely with Engineering team to establish SOA Governance guidelines and introduce best
practices in order to stabilize the shared enterprise environment. Good knowledge of unix shell scripting; developed multiple utility scripts being used across the
enterprise for generating reports shared with leadership/end-clients. Worked on networking tools such as Wireshark and AppviewX; created dashboard in AppviewX being
used by admin teams, thus saving significant time and cost to AmEx. Good knowledge of monitoring & reporting tools such as Splunk and ITCAM; built various dashboards in
Splunk and worked extensively on ITCAM for SOA and WDP agents. Also worked as administrator for critical ApplePay/Flux projects; good knowledge of datapower
infrastructure too. End-to-end knowledge and awareness about various frontend/backend systems involved within
American Express utilizing SOA DataPower.

G-Reg (Global registration) is an application which maintains corporate user’s information and gives authorization access to all corporate applications. Using this application, new corporate user can be setup, access permissions to the different applications are given and their accessibility can be monitored.
GIDM (Globalized Information Delivery Management) is used to implement and maintain the @ Work® Travel and @ Work® Card Enhanced reporting. Since all users of these products must be registered in American Express @ Work®, GIDM is only accessible through the American Express @ Work® Registration tool. Only representatives from GIS with a special @ Work® Contact Type will see the GIDM Link.
Roles and Responsibilities
Participate (and organize, if needed) and provide update in daily scrum calls as part of AGILE
model.
Identify performance bottlenecks in the design, evaluate and propose alternate solutions.
Conduct pre Build session with all the technical stakeholders (onsite as well as offshore), to align
on the strategy to be followed for the build.
Coordinate with offshore team of 30 plus members including SMEs/architects and team members.
Analyze the existing java/SP functionality before designing web services; work with database
team to provide requirement for creation of new optimized stored procedures.
Develop simple or complex chained services based on requirement over SOAP and REST using
http/https protocols.
Ensure all the services are performance tested (endurance/stress/slm) before moving the code to
higher environments.
Coordinate with the Business Users for the User Acceptance Test for the developed Application.

NAP and ETV – Network API Platform (NAP) consists of several critical projects related to Mobile Wallet functionality for American Express. Enterprise Token Vault (ETV) is the technology platform accessible by issuing & acquirer networks to support tokenization services and products. The platform provides secure mapping of an alternative PAN (token) to real card PAN.
APPLE PAY– Apple Pay has been initiated to build the functionality and infrastructure required to provide the Enterprise Mobile Wallet capability for American Express Cards to a key partner Apple for US Market and for key International Markets. This will allow customers to pay in an easy, secure and private way using the NFC technology. The user has to register their credit and debit card as a one-time process and can choose any card (if more than one), while making the payment.
