Analysis of an existing front coverThe target audience for this magazine are 16-25 year olds there fore the amount of text is a small amount a simple because teenagers have a short attention span.

This is an example of convergence and the magazine links to another form of media in this case twitter.

Different colours will make the magazine seem more important therefore being more appealing.

The Title will be placed here and will be quite large and bold in order to create impact and for it to standout.

The cover image will be a music artist linking to hip hop wearing clothing which suit the genre of music.

The name of the music artist will be anchoring the cover image

Additional info about the magazine will be placed around section of the magazine however they cant be too complicated as then they wouldn’t appeal to my target audience which a mainly teenagers aged 16-20.

Analysis of an existing contents page

In terms of the images used its seems to be irrelevant to music just to engage the audience.

The text here is black in order to contrast with the faded grey and white background.

The title is a clear white in order to contrast with the dark black background.

For my contents page I will have the music artist on either side with the contents on either side of him

The subtitles will have additional information underneath it.

I have used a “Z” in the background to use it as some kind of a logo.

Music magazines tend to have a picture of a music artist on the left hand side and writing on the right hand side.

The image is a picture of Jay Z and the shot used is medium close up.
