Plickers

What can I use it for?Plicker quizzing could be used in a variety of library situations; staff training, information

literacy skills workshops, induction, new database instruction - any time you wish to gain

feedback from a group.

How easy is it to use?Very straightforward - students use the scannable shapes and turn it to the letter of the answer that they wish to submit - A, B, C or D

To collect the answers from the group, the teacher scans the group using the Plickers app (via a mobile phone or iPad/android tablet).

The responses are then instantly projected onto a LiveView screen. It can also be used without wi-fi in exactly the same way but

without the LiveView screen. There are numerous step-by-step guides on YouTube.

Are there support materials?Yes - impressive amount of help on the website as well as Plickers webinars. My particular favourite is the Plickers presentation kit - a

zip file that has a complete PowerPoint presentation included to help you train others! https://plickers.zendesk.com/hc/en-us

Case Studies?Visit the Plickers site, YouTube or have a look here at a couple of case studies - https://blogs.jobs.ac.uk/the-digital-
