MissionsOur Local Mission Partners
"At FPC, as we have began gathering as the body of Christ again, we are eager to include our children in this gathering! These times are difficult and uncertain, but we are planning to reinstitute the Children's Ministry the weekend of August
16th. All volunteers will receive training in the new curriculum and the vision of FPC's Children's Ministry prior to the launch
of Children's Ministry on August 16th. Pastor Tyler will lead this Volunteer Workshop to help all volunteers feel equipped and confident in their role (and lunch will be provided!). We are
aiming to begin as many of the Children's activities outdoors as possible. For our Children's Ministry to be as effective and safe as possible, 9 adult volunteers will be required every Sunday.
Because of the variety of volunteer opportunities, we are hopeful that a variety of volunteers will stand up and say "Here am I! Use me!" We have the opportunity through the Children's ministry to spend time holding and loving on babies, teaching
3rd graders about God's plan to redeem His creation, or playing a fun outdoor game with some cute kindergarteners! If you feel compelled to follow in Jesus' footsteps and let the little children to come to Him, there is a place for you in this ministry!! Please contact either Tyler Reed, Kristi Beabout, or Pamela Allen if you
have any questions."

“Judge Not: Logs, Dogs, and Hogs”Dr. D.M.”Woody” Woodward
Matthew 7:1-6
7 “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. 2 For you will be treated as you treat others.[a] The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be
judged.[b]
3 “And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye[c] when you have a log in your own? 4 How can you think of saying to your friend,[d] ‘Let me help you get rid of
that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the
speck in your friend’s eye.
6 “Don’t waste what is holy on people who are unholy.[e] Don’t throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the
pearls, then turn and attack you.
