The true story is told of a famous evangelist who
was introduced to speak to a stadium full of peo-
ple. After taking in a 10-minute standing ova-
tion, he simply said, “When Jesus entered into
Jerusalem, he received a similar response from
the crowd. It would have been a great mistake
for the donkey to think that that reception was
meant for him! I am just God’s donkey.”

Fellow parishioner, Helen Hinrichsen, is giving away her well-loved piano. She would love to see it go to a family
or local school that would find it use-ful. Its Free, whomever is interested would just have to move it - it is in located in a walk-out basement and a truck could be pulled up pretty close to the door - so loading it up would be relatively easily and needs to happen by May 1. For more infor-mation please contact Lori Hinrich-sen at lorihinrichsen.com or 802-760-7038 (call or text)

Brian Goetz Memorial Scholarship for Elementary/Middle School
Brian Goetz was the long-time owner of Perkins Office Solu-tions, a family business he worked in for years. A 1973 Heelan
grad who died in 2010, he served on community boards, was a pilot and a cyclist, and regularly took part in RAGBRAI rides across Iowa and motorcycle rides to Stur-gis. Brian was an active Heelan alum who worked on phonathons, reunions, Heelan Auction donations and more. His fund will help several K-8 students from St. Mi-chael Parish attend Bishop Heelan Catholic School. Application forms are available at St. Michael Church and both Holy Cross Schools. Forms are due April 14th.
The Divine Mercy Novena is one way to prepare for the great Feast of Divine Mercy (Sunday after Easter). It is
nine days of praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy as dictated to St. Faustina by Our Lord. The novena begins on Good Friday. Our Lord told Faustina. “By this nove-na (of chaplets), I will grant every possible grace to souls” (Diary 796). A pam-phlet with the prayer inten-tions for the novena is availa-ble in your churches or at Trinity Heights gift shop. You are invited to pray the novena on your own Good Friday, Ho-ly Saturday, and Easter Sun-day and then join others for public prayer at Trinity Heights Queen of Peace Monday through Saturday (April 17-22) in the Marian Center at 7:00 pm. The pub-lic prayer will include the chaplet, a homily, benedic-tion, and opportunity for pri-vate confessions (Mon-Fri. only). For a schedule of speakers, see your parish bul-letin board. ALL are welcome and encouraged to attend.
