LENTEN ADORATION & STATIONS OF THE CROSS AT ST. LOUIS

Beginning March 8th, Adoration will be held each Friday during Lent following the 12 noon Mass and will conclude the next morning at 8am. Please sign-up for

an hour or more with our Lord in the main entrance of the church. Stations of the Cross will be held each Friday of Lent starting March 8th @ 6pm.

LENTEN FISH FRY AT ST. PHILIP

Join your fellow St. Philip parishioners and community as the Knights of Columbus will be holding a Fish Fry this Friday from 5pm - 7pm or until the fish runs out. Fish plates with

sides will be sold for $10. Take-out will be available and you may also dine in. A short video series will be touching on Prayer, Fasting & Alms Giving during the Lenten season.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS SCHOLARSHIP

The Knights of Columbus, Msgr. J.J. Kearns 4th Degree Assembly 1109, will be offering scholarships to graduating Catholic seniors in the Waco area. Application forms are on the

JUNE 17th - 21st at ST. LOUIS IMPACT Waco is a brand new camp for middle school youth (incoming 7th, 8th & 9th grade teens) looking to grow in their relationship with God and witness their faith through acts of service. During IMPACT, we will experience the love of God through prayer and the sacraments, and then live from what we received, through works of service and charity in the community. STEUBENVILLE CATHOLIC YOUTH CONFERENCE The Steubenville CYC is July 19th - 21st in Springfield, MO! It is a weekend conference for Catholic teens designed to inspire them in faith through dynamic speakers, inspirational worship and celebration of the Sacraments. Cost is $325/person. Registration forms can be found at www.slywaco.org or at the St. Philip website, www.stphilipcs.com or at youth group. All high school teens including incoming freshman are invited to join us. Service hours are

EASTER EGG HUNT

St. Philip will have our annual Easter Egg Hunt after the Easter Sunday Mass on April 21st. Please join us on the grass next to the parking lot.

IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO JOIN US ON THE SIDEWALK!

40 DAYS FOR LIFE, a worldwide prayer vigil, concludes on Saturday, April 13th with a closing ceremony starting at 7pm with blowing of the shofar seven (7) times around the perimeter of Planned Parenthood by Fr. Robert Verrill, testimonies and a candle-light remberance. Please join us for this important event! You may still come to pray for one particular hour this last week or just “drop-in” . RETREATS AT CEDARBRAKE RETREAT CENTER IN BELTON

HOLY THURSDAY AND GOOD FRIDAY RETREAT, APRIL 18TH - 19TH - Come and pray on two of the most sacred days of the year. This silent retreat will begin on Thursday at 4pm with a conference and meal followed by Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7pm. Friday includes a conference, Stations of the Cross and concludes with the Good Friday liturgy at 3pm. Cost for overnight accomodations is $120 for a private room, $85 for a shared room and $55 for commuters. Fr. Albert Haase will preside.

STRUGGLING TO UNDERSTAND SUICIDE RETREAT - SATURDAY, APRIL 6TH, 9AM-2:30PM There is not a full understanding of suicide, but this day will allow for an open discussion and hopefully will bring healing to those who have lost a loved one or friend due to suicide. Dr. Louis Gamino, a Clinical Psychologist and Professor of Psychiatry & Behavorial Science at TAMU and Clinical Psychologist at BSW, will present a two hour lecture followed by healing reflections and Fr. Albert Haase will celebrate Mass with Annointing of the Sick.
