There is a lot going on to wrap up the month. This week is red ribbon week for drug prevention. I sent home a note on Friday detailing what each day will be. Tuesday is wear red day, Wednesday is crazy sock day, Thursday is sunglasses day, and Friday is hat day! I would also just like to make you all aware that I will be gone Tuesday and Wednesday of this week for professional development. If you need me on those two days, please don’t hesitate to email or send me a message on See Saw! I will get back to you as soon as I can. The kids have until Thursday to get their book-it reading logs in so I will know if they earned their pizza for the party. Our October party is this Friday at 2:15. Our theme for the party is “Pumpkins” We will watch “It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown” and carve a small pumpkin together. You are welcome to join us or send snacks. We have had tons of sweets at our parties in the past, so salty snacks or fruit would be greatly appreciated as well! Thank You! -Miss Lynch [email protected] Alpena Elementary Website: www.alpenaschools.k12.ar.us 300 South Denver Street Phone Number: 870-437-2229
