MINUTES of the GISBORNE DISTRICT COUNCIL EXTRAORDINARY MEETING
Held in the Restaurant (upstairs), Gisborne Cosmopolitan Club, 190 Derby Street, Gisborne on 8 June 2017 at 1.10pm. Secretarial note: MOVED by Cr Stoltz, seconded by Cr Fenn
That the meeting start time be deferred from 1pm to 1.10pm.

IN ATTENDANCE: Chief Executive Nedine Thatcher Swann, Director Community Lifelines David Wilson, Acting Director Environmental Services and Protection Lois Easton, Director Liveable Communities Andrew White, General Manager Tairāwhiti Roads Dave Hadfield, Senior Projects Accountant Pauline Foreman, Democracy & Support Services Manager Heather Kohn and Committee Secretary Helen Barbier.

That the Council
1. Notes the contents of this report and
2. Approves the appointment of John Clarke as Recovery Manager and Heather Kohn as Alternate Recovery Manager and
3. Appoints the Mayor, or if they are absent or unavailable, the Deputy Mayor or, if they are both unavailable, then one of the Committee Chairs to sign a local transition period.
