Sub: - Revised Sanction Ceiling for PR/IRQP works during FY 2021-22 for Annual Renewal Programme (ARP) under NH(Q) Head-Reg.

Ref: - Planning O.M of even no. dated 30.03.2021 & 29.07.2021.

Competent Authority has approved the additional Sanction Ceiling for PR/IRQP works during FY 2021-22 for Annual Renewal Programme (ARP) under NH(O) head for the State of Tripura and UT of Puducherry.

2. The details of approved Sanction Ceiling are as under: -

3. Further, in continuation of the above it is to mention that -

(i) The projects/works whose sanction ceiling are approved under ARP for PR/IRQP

during FY 2019-20 and 2020-21 but sanction could not be accorded within 31.03.2021, may

be considered for sanction in FY 2021-22 also.

(ii) From FY 2021-22 on-wards the funding for the PR/IRQP works are considered

under NH(O) in three categories viz. PR/IRQP [NH(O)-General], PR/IRQP [NH(O)-NE] and

PR/IRQP [NH(O)-TSP]. The sanction ceiling could not be provided in these three different

categories at this stage, therefore, ROs are requested to sanction the PR/IRQP works under the appropriate category/ head i.e. (i) for North Eastern States sanction should be under PR/IRQP [NH(O)-NE] head, (ii) for the works confined within one or more adjoining tribal districts sanction should be under PR/IRQP [NH(O)-TSP] head and (iii) for remaining, works sanction should be under PR/IRQP [NH(O)-General] head.

4, This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Wing vide Note #385 dated 10.09.2021 and approval of the Secretary (RT&H).

3; It is to mention that, projects/works whose sanction ceiling are approved under ARP for PR/IRQP during FY 2019-20 and 2020-21 but sanction could not be

accorded within 31.03.2021, may be considered for sanction in FY 2021-22 also.

4, It is pertinent to mention here that, from FY 2021-22 onward, booking of expenditure for PR/IRQP works is to be made under NH(Q). Therefore, there is no issue of funds for PR/IRQP works.

5. This issues with the concurrence of Finance Wing vide Note # 348 dated

30.03.2021 and approval of the Secretary (RT&H).
