MONEY MATTERS

Fundraising, Donations and Merchandise

There are 3 ways you can contribute to BCNA on the day of your Mini-Field

1. Fundraising Use of BCNA raffle tins- all tins are individually numbered and allocated

to your event (after the event ,open the tins, count the money and add it to the fundraising section of the deposit slip and dispose of the tin). Unused tins will be collected by Star Packaging

Raffles

2. Donations People can donate directly to BCNA. Receipts must be written out from the BCNA receipt book and handed to

the donor at the event. All donations of $2 and over are tax deductible

3. Merchandise Your Event-in-a-box contains the merchandise that you requested.  You

are under no obligation to make sales. Simply return any unsold merchandise with your silhouettes to Star Packaging

Cash only is accepted for merchandise sales. Receipts are not issued for merchandise sales.

Note: The Pink Lady Pink ($5) is the only merchandise item which is tax deductible. The backing card is accepted as a receipt by the Australian Tax Office.

All other merchandise is not eligible as a tax deduction e.g. Pink Lady Key Rings ($5), Packet of Pink Lady Socks (2 pairs per packet) ($15), Wrist Bands ($3)

BANKING AND RECONCILIATION CHECKLISTOn your Reconciliation and Banking Form

Count any remaining merchandise. Fill in the “Quantity Returned” and “Quantity sold” columns for all merchandise items.

Complete the reconciliation form by totalling columns for merchandise sales, donations and fundraising. This will give you your total amount raised at your Mini-Field.

Detach the deposit slip and return the top half of the reconciliation form to Marita at BCNA by post or email

Banking all your hard work!

Deposit the proceeds from your event using the bottom section of the Banking Form directly into the BCNA bank account at any National Australia Bank OR

Send a cheque payable to BCNA for the amount you raised on the day.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH THROUGH THE POST
