In a career spannIng fIve decades, pianist Monty alexander has built a reputation exploring the worlds of american jazz, popular song, and the music of his native Jamaica, finding in each a sincere spirit of musical expression.

ThroughouT hIs lIfeTIMe, the award-winning pianist has performed and recorded with artists from every corner of the musical universe including frank sinatra, Tony Bennett, and dizzy gillespie.

To help celeBraTe The 2015 cenTennIal of frank sInaTra, Monty has created an incredible new show: In the early 1960's, while performing in Miami at the age of 18, Monty caught the attention of frank sinatra and Jilly rizzo. The pair invited Monty to perform at Jilly's nightclub in new York. The club was a frequent hang out spot for sinatra, as well as major legendary figures including count Basie, erroll garner, Judy garland, Johnny carson, and Miles davis.

Born in armenia in 1987, Tigran has won major accolades: a 2011 french grammy, 1st place in the Thelonious Monk piano competition, and the 2013 vilcek prize for creative promise in contemporary Music. It is no surprise that two of the world's leading record

labels (nonesuch & ecM) have signed on to release new albums by Tigran.
