License MigrationThe Multiparty licensing models are easy to buy and use. They enable meetings to include any number of participants (based on hardware deployed): only one license is required per meeting. Both Personal Multiparty Plus and Shared Multiparty Plus enable the same user experience. Personal Multiparty Plus entitles named users to host meetings as big or small as they want, whenever they want. Shared Multiparty Plus is a concurrent meeting license. Any user who is not allocated a Personal Multiparty Plus license can host a meeting and will be dynamically allocated a Shared Multiparty Plus license for the duration of their meeting. This model allows organizations to make it easier for all users to meet with others and enjoy a great meeting experience, using a simple and predictable commercial model. Organizations can get started with a solution scoped for their current business size and expand economically as they grow.

To allow existing customers to get maximum return on their current investment, Cisco has created a Multiparty Licensing migration program. This program allows customers to migrate from their existing licenses to Multiparty licenses that are supported on Cisco Meeting Server. See Table 1 for products eligible for migration.

Through the migration program, customers can trade in their current licenses as they purchase Multiparty licenses for Cisco Meeting Server.

SWSS Support ContractStarting on Aug 1, 2016 customers migrating to UWL Meetings/PMP Plus or SMP Plus will be required to purchase a new SWSS support contract based on the list price of PMP Plus or SMP Plus. The licenses that are migrated to Multiparty licenses need to be covered by an active support contract for proof of purchase.

Existing support contracts can have a credit applied using: https://www.cisco.com/cisco/psn/web/workspace.
