OIS Why migrate from Office 2003 now?• Support for Microsoft Office 2003 at CERN – till
09.2011– There are no fixes produced for Office 2003 since 06.2009– Integration with infrastructure at CERN (SharePoint,
Exchange, etc)
• This summer: migration of remaining computers with Office 2003 to Office 2007
• Migration plan was accepted on IT Service Review Meeting (10.2010) with departmental’ and experiments’ representatives

– There is finally a tab “File”– Messages grouped in conversations.– References to previous conversations.– Out of office information before you send your email.

• Right click on CMF icon and go to Add/Remove CMF packages
• Uninstall Office 2003• Install Office 2007• Go for a lunch – it takes a while
