Lexi treats our classroom, school and it’s people with respect, she’s great at solving problems and always tries her best.

She willingly participates and has fun in all that we do. This year she has learnt so much and helped others learn lots too!

Lexi wears a smile and is always pleasant and polite. She is patient, kind and understanding, an absolute delight!

Lexi is a deserving recipient of the Personal best, as she always rises above when put to the test.

SILVER PENNANT— Congratulations to Joshua Miller who was presented with a Silver Pennant at last week’s Assembly for receiving five certificates/awards this year! Well done.

PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE Last week Middleton Public School hosted the Junior and Senior AECG meeting and we also hosted the research team from Gonski Institute for Education. It was a great privilege to be able to host these events. Today we have had five new interactive smartboards installed across the school. The students and staff are very excited by this. Some benefits of these boards include the increase in interactive instructional tools, create more interest and motivation among students, display attractive graphics, and can also cater to all learning styles. As the weather starts to warm up its important that students wear their school hat and drink plenty of water.

SCHOOL CHOIR A hearty congratulations to 9 little people from Year 2 to Year 4 who performed at the Rosedurnate Fete last Saturday, 9 November. We had a few members sick and a few away, leaving us with just 9 but they sang their hearts out and I’m very proud of them. Thank you to the children and to their parents and carers. Mrs Butler

Staff Car Park: There has been an increase in the number of parents and caregivers who are using the staff carpark to drop off and pick up students. Please be aware that this car park is only to be used by staff and delivery vehicles. It is quite dangerous for students and parents to be using this area due to amount of traffic that is coming and going.

HEAD LICE Please continue to check your child’s hair daily as there have been a number of students absent with head lice. If head lice is detected in your child’s hair, please treat with head lice solution before allowing your child to return to school to avoid the spread to other students. There have been a number of cases in the school!
