The partnership between Southeast Community Services and UIndyhas been in existence for over ten years. With the support from theKresge Foundation, we were able to offer a creative output for the senior citizens at the Senior Center, located in the community center. Many of the senior citizens in the Southeast live on a low, fixed income, and face considerable financial challenges. The activities we arrange, from art classes to film screenings, offer a place to explore the arts.

In addition, SENSE teamed up with the Wheeler Arts Community to participate in free art classes, ranging from photography to print making. These classes continue throughout 2012.
