St. Charles, Illinois—April 1, 2009—Medallion Press, Inc., in partnership with Triple Threat
Mentoring, is proud to be an official sponsor of the Miss Chicago Scholarship Association and the Miss
Illinois Scholarship Association.
Medallion Press and Triple Threat Mentoring, along with Miss Chicago and Miss Illinois, will be
raising awareness and helping serve at-risk urban youth by encouraging them to pursue their goals and
live out their potential. Through academics, athletics, and arts programs offered by Triple Threat,
children who once felt little hope will now have the opportunity to dream of big futures.
The Miss Chicago and Miss Illinois Scholarship Associations provide young women the opportunity to
showcase their accomplishments and award the most outstanding young women with scholarship funds.
The organizations promote not only scholastic achievement, but also community involvement, creative
accomplishment, and healthy living, all aspects dear to Triple Threat and its work. Miss Chicago and
Miss Illinois will become involved in Triple Threat programs and will reach out to at-risk youth by
becoming a positive role model to show kids what they can achieve if they put their minds to it.
Medallion Press and Triple Threat Mentoring are inspired by the efforts of the Miss Chicago and Miss
Illinois Scholarship Associations. By sponsoring these wonderful organizations, they are partnering
with them to raise awareness and to create professional and personal opportunities for today’s youth.
