How to make a PowerPoint

Getting Started

Click on to open PowerPoint Click on Format > Slide Design Slide designs will show on the right

side of the screen. Pick one and start your PowerPoint

Creating your PowerPoint

The first page is your title page.

Adding Slides

Click on Insert > New Slide Type in slide title/topic on top text

box (example: Adaptations) Type in key points about the topic for

that slide. Key points do not need to be in complete sentences.

Pictures Click on Insert > Picture > Clip Art. Type in what you want a picture of and

double click on the picture you like. Pictures can be moved to a different spot

by clicking on them then dragging them to the right location.

Picture size can be changed by clicking on corners and moving them to be bigger or smaller.

Editing

To go back and edit any of the slides, click on the slide that needs changing. All the slides will be listed on the left side of the screen. Make your changes and continue on.

Presentation

To see the presentation, click on View > Slide Show
