Founded in 2001 as the distribution point for Modulex in South Africa, Mgwezi quickly established itself as a market leader in signage and wayfinding solutions. In just a few short years, our client portfolio included many of South African’s top brands and most recognised public institutions. In 2006, following a merger with manufacturing giant, Plastic Sign Manufactures, Mgwezi extended its product offerings to include custom manufacture, making it one of the fastest growing, as well as progressive, signage companies in Southern Africa.

Following on this success, recognising market trends and the changing role of signage, in early 2007, Mgwezi extended its portfolio to include merchandising and POS elements.

Industry and design trends were already forging a creative upsurge in the elements of signage design.

Multi-dimensional shop fronts, the design of s i g n a g e s o l u t i o n s a s p a r t o f t h e merchandising theme, and the creative use of materials, finishes and colours in signage manufacture all form part of this new “multi-sensorial” design approach.

As our clients were looking for ways to differentiate themselves from their competitors and enhance their retail experience, so we looked at unique and creat ive ways to create a dist inc t environment. By extending our product portfolio, this diversity in product design, manufacture and application, is an effective and flexible means through which to customise our clients’ space.

PRODUCTION



With 7 full time installation crews supported by tried and tested contract riggers wehave the capacity to deliver both national and regional brand and signage roll-outs,so whether you want wall paper in Lagos or a pylon installed in Lydenburg we haveyou covered.

INSTALLATION
