Finance Committee Meeting - Sunday, Nov., 10 @ 4pm in Pastor Steve’s Office

Men at the Gate is tomorrow, Nov. 4 at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall. We will be having Gregory Frey along with Mike Owen, who are with Wounded Warrior Project, coming to share with us.

Greg is a recently retired 26-year Army veteran who spent his career as an Infantryman, Special Operator, and Strategic Planner with deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. He currently serves as the TRACK Program manager at Wounded Warrior Project. TRACK is the first education center in the nation designed specifically for Wounded Warriors. The 12-month program gives warriors a jump-start on meeting their educational goals, while also supporting goals around personal health and wellness, mental health, and career development. In his role, Greg facilitates the delivery of the mind, body, and spirit curriculum to all Warriors enrolled in the TRACK Program and manages the relationships with partners providing support for Warriors attending TRACK, to include academic, medical, workforce, and veterans' assistance organizations.

Mike Owen, is currently the Dean of Students for the TRACK program. In this role, he oversees the students. Providing expertise and mentorship as they progress through the year long program, pursuing their educational and professional goals. A Veteran of the Marine Corps for seven years, Mike was injured in Iraq on October 17, 2005 when his 7-ton truck rolled over as he manned a .50 caliber machine gun for the turret. After a year and a half recovery at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX, he medically retired and started work at Wounded Warrior Project, where he has been serving injured veterans like himself.

Come and join us for a great meal, a time of fellowship and to learn how we can support, and work with Wounded Warrior Project.
