Dear Parents and Students of MYP5W,

Welcome to a new school year. It will be a very exciting period for the students as they complete the MYP curriculum and begin to prepare for the IB Diploma Programme, next academic year. You should have received the most recent school newsletter with introductions by the director and senior leadership team. We are all looking forward to a prosperous, productive and fulfilling year with the students. MYP5W have already made an excellent start. I was impressed with the enthusiasm, creativity and spirit of the students during orientation week and on the MYP4/5 camp.

This week we have started our full academic timetable and 5W students continue to make positive progress as they settle into the curriculum.

We have a number of new students in the group. A warm welcome to them and their parents. I have been impressed with how well the students have supported and assisted their new classmates with their integration into the group and school. The teambuilding activities on camp were a lot of fun and the student’s attitude was excellent. As a group we managed to win two out of three important awards, best performance and best costume.
